Yet another chance for everyone to call Mike Florio terrible names he deserves.
So Vince thinks CJ will attend camp. Somehow, this was king douchcanoe's response:
... Vince should politely butt the hell out, or he's gonna have a problem when C.J. shows up -- on August 10, July 31, or even sooner if he decides to put a sock in Vince's mouth, or a shoe up his rear end.
Man, even Paul Kuharsky thinks Florio's beef with VY is personal at this point. You may proceed with the mocking, lest you disappoint me....

What does that even mean?
Titans Blogger at Music City Miracles even though gramsey hates it.
"What if I was Peyton Manning?"- CJ to the ref after they picked up a personal foul flag for a late hit on him.
I don't understand either

Nice pic
He is such a DOUCHE!
VY only wants to succeed, CJ only wants to get his FAIR Share which he won’t receive until his contract ends, & Florio needs to be FIRED!
Although, like the Sewage Center Lane Kiffin stated, “Bad press is still good press” So maybe we should just ignore him and he would disappear like Ryan Leaf.

& According to wiki
He is a Vikings fan, so I wonder if he thinks the same about his backup QB Tavaris Jackson.

C'mon guys...
Yall realize how many page views and comments a negative VY story draws over there, right?
Florio is awful, but it’s just a slow day in the NFL gossip and crime world, so y’know, hit up the old Jim Wyatt RSS feed and see if there’s any VY related quotes to parse and interpret for the lowest common denominators over at PFT.
I think you hit the nail on the head
Page views and comments are his goals, reporting is clearly not a strength.
Irony at its best: "However, right now, all I see is a lot of fingers getting pointed without any facts."- BBS (on Marvin Harrison)

Linking to him only keeps him in business. Page views are the cash cow for full-time bloggers. He is not a journalist; he’s a guy that knows how to make money via the internet. So let’s stop promoting his venture; please act as if it doesn’t exist. If you mention he-of-whom-we-shall-not-speak or his venture then the terrorists win.
If I hit a hole-in-one on this grand slam the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.
more garbage from florio
2. Tennessee Titans. Two years ago, Titans starter Vince Young flamed out in Week 1, and Kerry Collins led the team to a 13-3 record. Now, when Collins found himself yanked for Young after a disastrous start to 2009, Young has shown signs of another potential meltdown, and Collins remains in place, mop and bucket at the ready.
Over the long haul, the Titans may need not only a new backup but also a new starter. For now, though, they’ve still got one of the best No. 2’s in the NFL, and they could need him sooner than anyone realizes.
Don't HAIT. Save the HATTEN for the HAITTERS!
Kerry Collins? Ha!
Fella, look at Kerry Collins’ stats from that 13-3 season. Collins just happened to be on the team that went 13-3 against a weak schedule because of a great running game and defense. When the schedule got tougher, Collins disappeared. Collins is not a good player. There is a reason why he is on his 5th NFL team. There is a reason why no one wanted him after Oakland cut him in 2006. There is a reason why no one tried to sign him when he was a free agent after 2008. And there was a reason why Collins started out 0-3 in 2006 and 0-6 in 2008. The only person in the NFL who still thinks that Collins can play is Jeff Fisher.
The Titans need a new #2 NOW, and that should be Chris Simms. If they need a new #1, well fine. But claiming that Young is on the verge of another meltdown is hilarious. Do you compare that to Collins’ calling a teammate a racial slur and getting his jaw broken when Collins punched him in the mouth? And if you didn’t call what Collins did in the 4th quarter against the Jets or the entire games against the Colts, Jaguars and Patriots “flaming out” then what is?
Funny how
all the Collins supporters never bring up that he literally walked out on his team in Carolina, when comparing him to VY. Or that his teammate broke his face in a bar. They only mention the negative actions of VY.
Collins has made some decisions in his career that were alot worse than VY has. But he bounced back, even went to a super bowl. But Collins supporters dont think that VY has the same ability to resurect his career.
Hillarious.
Totally Wrong On Florio
Florio is actually Vince Young’s biggest fan – and one of his only fans – in the mainstream media. Florio supported and defended Young throughout the vicious predraft process back in 2006, and back when others were “reporting” this nonsense that Young was going to drop out of the first round, Florio stated that Young wasn’t going to fall any further than the Cardinals, and that other teams were trying to trade up to get him. Florio has also defended Young throughout the nonsense in Nashville, pointing out his won-loss record and mentioning that a lot of his struggles were due to bad coaching and poor talent around him at WR and RB.
So why is Florio going after Young now? Simple: Florio like everyone else knows that this is Young’s last chance. If Young plays well, he gets his long term deal and is a starting QB, either in Nashville or someplace else. But if Young plays poorly or has more incidents like missing flights and meetings, then Fisher will cut him loose and he will be in a fight to stay in the NFL.
Young’s being at a strip club at 3:00 AM when he had practice in Tennessee the next day was bad enough, and his getting into a fight was inconceivable. Could you imagine if Young had gotten suspended, even over the situation getting out of control through no particular fault of his? Young would have never seen the field in Nashville again.
Young should be trying to lay low, stick to his own business and not be getting involved with anybody else. His inserting himself into this Chris Johnson mess, speaking for the guy and everything is just more evidence that he just doesn’t get it. Florio isn’t acting like a jerk because he wants Young to fail. He is acting like a jerk because he badly wants Young to succeed and knows that Young is running out of chances.

So let me get this straight...
I am not as familiar with the reporters and writers as you guys probably are. I forget their names and don’t pay any attention to them as (not just saying this) I get 99% of what I want to know about the Titans from right here at MCM….
So did I just read a quote from a reporter/writer… saying for a person on the actual f****ng team to butt out of another player who is close to him’s business?
That’s like me walking into your house and telling you and your wife to not have an argument over money. (extreme analogy, ha)
