PrintWell the fun just keeps on coming. Jonathan Hutton is reporting via Twitter than Gerald McRath has been suspended four games for violating the league's substance abuse policy. I am not sure if this is a PED thing or another drug, but what I do know is that it really screws the Titans at linebacker. I guess they better pray that David Thornton is going to be able to come back at 100%.

Wow.
Jeff Fisher might ought to start updating his resume. I think a sub .500 year will mark the end for him, and at this rate, he’ll have to extremely lucky to get away with a merely bad 8-8 or 7-9. The Titans are imploding here.

Beginning of the end
I miss the days when all we had to talk about was a holdout. This is a tragedy! I’m actually ashamed to be a Titans fan right now, considering how harsh I was on Cushing. Combine this with the Vince news and this team is setting itself up to be the Bengals South. I don’t see how this team overcomes this kind of adversity.
Hate to be all gloom and doom but his is exactly the kind of season it would take for Fisher to get fired.

I kept saying I dont know why everyone was so high on McRath at this site
I guess i just have another reason to think he was not all that good and has not proven much of anything. Now all he has proven is that he is a cheater

This is the best time for all this crap to happen…by the time August rolls around we will have forgotten about this and more worried about on the field stuff.
Calling McGrath a cheater is a little harsh. He wasn’t juicing or taking a masking substance. Guys get suspended all the time for tainted pills and that looks to be the case here. He has learned from it and we should all move along. I’d rather have him suspended the first 4 games rather then the last 4.

Calling McGrath a cheater is a little harsh.
I think its absolutely fair. I was extremely critical of Cushing, and since McRath was suspended for some sort of PED, he must be given the same treatment. McRath is a cheater. I love the Titans but I don’t think I can cheer for McRath anymore.
If I could think of something witty, I'd put it here.

I would rather win fair and square than have to cheat to do it…it is not just about winning but the manner in which you do it!
I will still cheer for McRath under the belief he has gotten his act together!
