Paul K makes one of the best points yet on the Brian Cushing PED suspension, but it still side-steps the biggest issue in my mind: if he failed the test in September, how in the hell did he get to push the appeal all the way to February!?!?!?!?! If that's the case, why hasn't every other player who's been suspended mid-season been given the same luxury? From all of the details I've seen Cushing should have been suspended mid-season, meaning they probably lose at least one game and finish the 8-8 they most likely deserved. Yeah I'm saying it: the Texans can't break .500 without cheating.
So this was tucked away in the end of a link I posted last week, but I didn't call it out: Myron Rolle is scheduled to miss a mini-camp period over June 7-10 so he can return to Oxford and take his final exams. Mike Florio's clones wasted no time in forecasting doom for Rolle over the 3 day absence, but that's just what they do. However, it's interesting to note that Rolle is being singled out because of where his finals will take place, when tons of rookies miss practice time simply because their schools run on the quarters system (see: Verner, Alterraun and Blount, LeGarrette). **UPDATE**: Rolle set the record staright via his Twitter page yesterday:
No OTAs during my finals for Oxford. C'mon son! Get your facts right LOL.
Vince Young says he feels more at home with the Titans now than ever before, and that's leading to better work habits. VY is also sounding more and more comfortable as a player who has earned his leadership role, rather than it being handed to him by virtue of his draft status and position.

Redskins players are taking the taboo step of criticizing a teammate for not being in camp, and that player is Albert Haynesworth. I'm still holding out hope Big Albert is in two-toned blue by the time the season starts.
The deadline for Titans season ticket renewals was supposed to be last Monday, but who wants to buy season tickets to an over-grown community pool? Instead, the deadline has been moved to Friday, May 14th.
Ross Tucker has a write-up on rookie mini-camps, including a note that sure-bust JPP has already missed a little time to seek medical attention for back pain and stiffness.
