If Stafon Johnson blows up here, we can thank LenDale
"I asked (White), 'What should I do?' He said he felt like Tennessee would be a great opportunity for me, and I felt the same way,’’ Johnson said. "He is like my big brother and I confided in him about different things and he gave me some good advice. He said for me, Tennessee would be great, that it’s a great place.’’

trading lendale white was addition by subtraction in more than one way.
the so called experts wont agree with me tho until they see what javon ringer and these rookies we have picked up are capable of.
I love the experts
obviosly the teams with the most first round picks had the best draft
I'm no super-genius... or are I?
Very professional of Lendale to say those things
But it’s kind of curious, because he knows better than anyone that anyone backing up CJ will have a hard time getting many carries.

Because, despite everything, Fisher treated him well.
He could have outright released LDW, but by trading him, LenDale is able to at least make the money guaranteed by his current contract—since he signed his tender—and also, it makes his market value seem higher for ongoing negotiations.

He probably also knew that Johnson
would have a good shot of at least making the roster here.

"What if I was Peyton Manning?"- CJ to the ref after they picked up a personal foul flag for a late hit on him.
Does he though?
I think he’s got an excellent chance of winding up on the Practice Squad, but I don’t think he’s got much chance to make the Active Roster unless he can also play Fullback.

Who do you think the third back is?

we could conceivably justify keeping 4 rbs
if 3 of them are good special teamers.
The Dual Threat, Official Enforcer/Stat Geek of MCM.
Maybe it will be Blount
but Johnson has a better shot at beating him out than a lot of 3rd backs in the league.
I like the Blount signing, but I am not sold that we got the steal of the century.

Blount is clearly a better back than Johnson
No punch=2nd round pick at worst.
Official MCM Hater!
Adrian Peterson just fumbled again.

I am not saying you are wrong. I am just saying that a guy has a better shot competing against another undrafted free agent than a proven NFL guy.
There is also this, when LenDale and Johnson had this conversation Blount might not have been in the picture.

oh why im thinking about it...
who all of these draftees and undraftees do you think will actually make it into madden. there were a few players on madden 10 that werent in the game. william hayes, dominique edison, ryan durand, are just to name a few stanford keglar. also mark jones the wr we picked up two different times last year wasnt on there. i think if they are drafted or sign to a contract through the undrafted free agency they should be on the game.
Kris Jenkins is the Albert Haynesworth of football...
I thought that was obvious!?!?
Then Albert Haynesworth is...
The Pacman Jones of Ferrari drivers?
did anyone see jim schwartz's comments about jahvid best?

Yeah, I thought it was hilarious!
He has since attempted to retract it, saying he never said “aroused.”
in addition to a solid draft.....
i think this is 1 of the best undrafted FA classes we’ve ever assembled. thoughts?

This is the lid of a coffin. One side is covered with dirt, and one side is covered with scratches. From this, you conclude that somebody must've really wanted to get their hands on the dirt that was inside that coffin.

Why is it I find myself
Liking Lendale and what he has to say more now that he’s gone than I did when he was here.

I really want to see Johnson play
cause he’s a good dude and its a great story but honestly I think Blount is better.
The only regret I have in my life is being born in Shitsburgh.

no doubt blount is better
but we’ve been known to carry a whole surplus of stockpiled RB’s for awhile now, i think both will make the team
