• If I would have come into camp every year in shape and on time from the beginning, maybe things would have been different, but last year I showed progress. And I lost 45 pounds in one offseason and was keeping it there. I was busting my butt. I worked hard. … But what I had done in the past caught up to me I guess.
• I know people heard about things like me being late for a team meeting and not getting to play. But I practiced and I busted my butt regardless of not getting any carries.
• I think Jeff knew I wanted to play, and the best thing to do was to trade me. I have nothing against Jeff Fisher at all. I am thankful for him giving me the opportunity. I appreciate him. But now I get to build a new me and leave a new legacy. I want people to have a different feeling about me, not the same one that lingered from stuff that happened four or five years ago.
- LenDale White on leaving the Titans, as reported in the Tennessean.
At least LenDale is leaving a better man than when he came.

i wonder if he knows
that when he lost that 45 pounds he lost all effectiveness on the goal line? whatever, i thought lendale was alright, definintely not my least favorite player of all time.

we're back in business
Damn
wish I hadn’t bought my LenDale jersey.
Oh well, I will miss him, he was fun to read about and watch play.
Not going to miss him running into the backs of our O-Line most this year.
I hope he does great in Seattle.
Good luck LenDale!
I've always liked Lendale
He’s a character and on the whole, he’s been a decently productive player for us during his time here. I really hope he gets a chance to excel in Seattle.

He has been a serviceable back up at best.
I was far more upset that we gave away Vickerson. At least he’s SUPPOSED to run into o-linemen.
he had a 1,000 yard season in his only year as starter....
and 15 rushing touchdowns when he was splitting time with johnson. i think he was more than serviceable.
He had 1000yd season behind the best o-line in football...
and stole 13 of CJ’s touchdowns. The dude sucks, always has. Nobody was breaking down our door to give us a 2nd rounder for him. We got to move up 7 picks in the 4th round and 9 in the 6th. On top of that we had to throw in Vickerson. Even Seattle knows he sucks and that’s why we didn’t end up with any extra picks. Lendale may have been the 65th best rb in the league.
i agree with the above statement except the 65th best running back thing.
he was decent at best and i would at least put him in the top 40.
Gonna miss ya, Lendale.
Best of luck in Seattle!
If I hit a hole-in-one on this grand slam the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.

I wish him well.
I hope he plays well in Seattle, except when they play us of course.

Lendale's first game in a Seahawks uniform will be against the...

Honestly, they did LenDale a solid favor in trading him rather than cutting him.
He has a better chance to salvage his career this way, and he’s gone to a team that will probably make use of him. That’s good. Personally, I want to see him succeed.

Atleast he admits he was being a bum and overweight
This is much more than what we got out of Haynesworth when he left.
Good luck to LenDale.

We've been 'swagger-jacked'
He was a big part of 13-3. My favorite Ledale moment was that long touchdown run where he had to look at the jumbotrom to see if they we’re going to catch him, cause he couldn’t look back.
I think this was a classy move by the Titans (we didn’t need to move up 8 spots in the 4th round). I hope he does well in Seattle.
He gets to see Matt Leinart twice a season.
Good luck Lendale.
I always liked him and I’m going to miss his great sound bites. Again, good luck Lendale.
No more swaggerjacking :(
This is the lid of a coffin. One side is covered with dirt, and one side is covered with scratches. From this, you conclude that somebody must've really wanted to get their hands on the dirt that was inside that coffin.

Seattle's RB depth chart:
1: Leon Washington
2: Justin Forsett
3: Julius Jones
4: Quinton Ganther
5: Lendale White
Get the fuck outta here.
Have you actually seen Julius Jones play? Anyone who has would not put him above Lendale. And what has Ganther done to be put ahead of Lendale? You’re out of your mind if you don’t think he’ll be the goal-line back is Seattle next season.

Not dissed by him, personally...
I was never ever impressed with him as a person or RB. The only reason I wanted him to be successful was because of the uniform he wore. Now that he’s gone, good riddance. Lendale White may just be the most overrated “short yardage” back ever. On 3&2, with Lendale in, you could pretty much rest assured it was about to be 4&3.
It’s great that he had his fans, but he’s a career number 2 at best ( all pun intended). I could not care any less if the dude ever touches a football again now that he’s not a Titan.
I'd rather have Lendale who we know can be productive
Than a Ringer, or Pearman who had how many carries last year? I’m just saying.

I agree
But lendale said he didnt wanna be a back up anymore. Which i still think he will prolly end up being a back up in Seattle. But maybe Ringer can be productive i know he had a few good carries in the preseason last year, but that’s the preseason. So we’ll see who can step up when CJ needs a breather. Who know’s could be Stafon Johnson.
we will likely have 4 running backs before its said and done next year.
chris johnson, javon ringer, legarrete blount, and stafon johnson. of course cj starts but the other three will compete to see who falls where on the depth chart. i like javon ringer personally and think he has way more upside and potential than lendale has. stafon johnson and legarrete blount are incredible athletes who should have been drafted, but didn’t cuz of the incidents that happened with them. i just hope legarrete blount can keep his temper down cuz fisher wont play that game too long. i get a feeling blount will get into it with finny in minicamp. we are known for carrying 4 running backs at times. i think this scenario has a better chance of happening than rusty smith making the final roster.
also you can't judge ringer based on the fact that he didn't get any carries during the season last year.
that’s just stupid. and as for pearman, he wil not be resigned, no doubt there.
LenDale is my hero.
You guys are a bunch of mo-rons. If he doesn’t fall somewhere around the 15th most complete back in the league next year, I’ll eat my hat. He’s like the Jason Campbell of running backs. Right in the middle, just good enough, needs a chance to establish an identity, and just happened to end up behind once in a generation talent. I have no idea what kind of shape the line is in up there, but you can bet your ass he’s the most reliable every down guy on their roster. With spry low-mileage legs, at 25 he is also the perfect age for a RB. Who’s the knucklehead that put him behind Quinton Ganther!? Ganther couldn’t get off the practice squad here while Lendale was still silently playing through a busted knee a couple years ago.
Huge props to him for speaking frankly, without a hint of PR drivel, and reaching for maximum ownership of any kind of responsibility for the position he found himself in here. Who the hell else in his circumstance, high profile or otherwise, handles it like that? I can’t wait to see him light up a shitty Rams D next year. I hope I run into him here in LA this spring, and get to plow through a couple hoagies, throw back some anejo, and listen to some retarded Vince stories.

I hope you run into hime also...
but chances are he’ll run into you, fall down, and lose a yard. I don’t care what you think about Ganther, that dude has more heart in his shoes than Shemale White has in his entire body.
