That’s why I knew that if Fisher’’s DL OCD got the better of our First Round pick, the Haynesworth deal would be dead, and we’d still be screwed at CB and in the return game.

its dumb him being drafted in the first round but the fact they traded up to get him i cant understand there is no way someone else was thinking about taking him. I dont think there would be anyway not with 2 better quarterbacks on the board.

I think Tebow will be a good QB. He’s just got this desire and will to succeed that really makes me think he can do it. He’s anti-Clausen like and thats what put him ahead of him.

Its the heart and desire I think that will make him work until he's successful at QB
He’s got the will to work on his skills, he’s a winner and leader, and if he sits a year or so he could be a good QB.

That's where I come from on Tebow.
He’ll be a regular starter for someone, but won’t be a guy who takes games over – and he’ll likely not see any Pro Bowls.
I think of him as a mobile Kerry Collins with youth.

- CB, #2 WR, KR/PR, we are basically the same, and will be entering camp.
I’m taking bets that Harper will be back, and starting for us, in 2010.

i read somewhere that they have made it clear that harper is not returning.
i know i read that he is waiting on the phone to ring and currently has no callers. first off you have failed to mention our need at dl at all. yea cb, and returner are needs but dl is a bit more important with losing vanden bosch and kearse. we NEED a starter opposite of hayes. cbs will automatically be upgraded with a better pass rush that we lacked last year. plus we have went out and got a guy with amazing potental in tye hill. i know he hasn’t been much with the rams and falcons. but he didnt have the talent on defense to accompany him like he does here. believe it or not our lb corps is pretty good with tulloch, mcrath, and witherspoon as the starters.
Schwartz wants a Cal RB?

I’m never pessimistic towards my multi-Stanley-Cup-winning hockey team, even after a bad season. Why? They have proven to have a winning formula. It’s only a matter of time before they’re battling for another Cup.
The Titans/Oilers have earned my pessimism.
This offseason has also – as of yet – earned my pessimism. What we’ve lost is not exceeded by what we’ve added, and that figures into a formula where we already had no business being on the same field as playoff teams last year. And yet again, the Titans can’t find a player on the trading block worthy of a draft pick(s), no matter how good they are.
I would sit here and try to argue that I’m just realistic, not pessimistic; but this offseason, I really am pessimistic. It’s an appropo label. I embrace it right now.
Jade Scorpion is pessimistic about this team – but my pessimism won’t be to blame for the CB problem, #2 WR problem, or return game problems. Nor will my attitude be to blame for the occasional snap problem that will leave a bullet wound in the team’s left foot.
But you’re more than welcome to get pissed-off about my being negative right now.

best cb available i think.
possibly a return specialist. could kill two birds with one stone. but im not ok with us having a starter every defensive snap risking getting hurt on returns. its no better than britt returning kicks last year, just stupid. i personally hope we address these needs separately both with our third rd picks.
