"We are working on it,’’ [Kevin Mawae's agent] Mark Bartelstein said. "Mike knows that Kevin would love to be back and we are just trying to work on something that would make sense for everybody. But he knows how Kevin feels about being in Tennessee and being a part of the Titans. We are hoping that something can be worked out.’’
If he returns, it would be as a backup since Jeff Fisher has already given the starting job to either Leroy Harris or Eugene Amano. I would love to have him back as a locker room presence, if nothing else.
