Since Marques Douglas is a free agent and the Jets have shown no interest in re-signing him, the Jets have a glaring need at DE. Though it's usually a poor man's position in the 3-4, Ryan's complex blitz schemes require a heady player who can eat blockers, get penetration or drop back into short zone coverages on any given play, and Odrick seems to fit that bill. He's a sturdy player with a mean streak and should step right in and start.
