meh Vanden Bosch

only had 4 sacks when he came from the cardinals and Washburn can probably do something with this guy

Yeah, I think it works in principle

Babin is athletic, but he was a reach by the Texans when they took him in round one. It’s kinda like calling Chris Henry 2nd round talent.

With the success of guys like KVB, Tony Brown, Odom, Jason Jones, etc. it sure seems like Washburn just needs some athletic ability and willingness to work to produce a quality starting NFL d-lineman. I don’t mind buying low on guys like Babin; I think the D-line play has been consistently good enough to defer to what Fisher, Reinfeldt, and Washburn are doing.

Im ok with signing this guy but.....

We definitely need to sign another DE preferably one that was more productive and also we need to get LEIGH BODDEN to have an above average secondary because I believe hope and Griff will return to 08 form. Also I believe Brandon Marshall would be a great addition to this team it would allow Britt to be open more often and even Drops washington to open up. Marshall would take our offense to even the next level. trade picks not from this year but next year.

by cj2k on Mar 7, 2010 5:50 PM CST reply actions

Marshall is not what we need.

A headache and an abuser. I still believe we draft DE 1st round even if we sign Babin. Even a bad secondary can be average with a great pass rush.

Marshall has been fine in the locker room and with teammates his only quarrel was with Mcdaniels and the broncos FO

He has domestic violence disputes all over him.

Don’t want someone that sad.

Wake UP!!!

You know were not giving up any draft picks for Marshall. We have a fine yong man in Britt, and were not giving up on Wash, Gage, or the Hawk either. It is your own Fantasy to have a T.O. Moss or Marshall. Why do we need them when we have a Cj. p.s. , WE NEED D!!!

I would respectfully submit

that we could definitely use a receiver who can vertically stretch the field as a legitimate threat to catch the ball.

by joshuaboone on Mar 8, 2010 12:22 AM CST up reply actions

i think we should get him but i really think we should start jacob ford because he is never the starter but ends up getting the most sacks on the team.

he’s horrid covering the run

Eagles

You got to remember that the eagles defense runs different its a read and react system. Kearse didn’t fit their system so I wouldn’t read too much into the 2.5 sacks.

Why r the titans rhe only ones in the afc south standing pat?

Colts got Brackett back but are in good shape otherwise, Jags got Kampman who we should have gotten and now Houston will get Bodden our other should-be target.

by cj2k on Mar 7, 2010 10:05 PM CST reply actions

Because

Were wanting to add youth to the team, Buds not going to dish out the money. We will continue to add through the draft. Are you just a Cj fan?? Are have you just not noticed our teams trend??

Look at this guy’s video resume.

It looks like a joke.

Why was that video even made?

it’s a little over a minute long with 8 combined seconds of actual football happening. If you can sum up what you have accomplished in a football season in 8 seconds of video then hey man maybe its time to move on. He didn’t even get the sack on Eli.

2.5 sacks is not what I'm looking for.

I can’t speak to the rest of it, but this seems like a waste of time.

babin

is a slightly darker-skinned dave ball….a rotation guy…nothing more…nothing less….and not 1st round talent…that’s why titans traded pick in that draft.
