Yesterday news broke that former Titans third-stringers Chris Simms and Patrick Ramsey are coming back to work-out and audtition for the team. Jim Wyatt looks at what this could mean for Kerry Collins, who is due $5.5 million this year.
It worries me that Paul K and I had the same reaction to the signing of Tye Hill to a one-year deal: options are never a bad thing. Like I meantioned in the links last week (editor's note: self-linking is G.), this team carried Demarcus Faggins through camp this year to give some of the young guys competition and provide some better opposition for the defense. I could see Hill in that role, but at least he brings much more athleticism to the mix.

Not much new news in this City Paper link, other than the byline is 'Staff Reports' as they search for Terry McCormick's replacement. I'm still bitter over this.
Draftseason.com has a our plan of attack for next month's draft, including a preview of some guys we could target with our third round picks, like Michigan CB Donovan Warren or South Florida CB Jerome Murphy.
Tennessee Alum and NFL Commentator Charles Davis has us taking JPP in his latest mock draft. Judging by the results of our poll yesterday, you folks won't be tooo happy with that pick.
Jason Elam will sign a one-day contrtact to retire a Bronco. He'll be remembered by many fans as one of the league's most accurate kickers, but he'll be remembered by me for his litereary masterpiece, Monday Night Jihad.
Jimmy will be happy to hear that his favorite linebacker got a huge new contract.
