The Titans Have Signed Another Free Agent!!!!!!

The Tennessee Titans have made another move in free agency, signing a player to help take care of a position at which veteran help is needed. This is only the second move that that Titans have made since free agency began, and it is a signing that is VITAL to the success of our favorite football team.

Kudos to the Titans' front office for signing...

so

he has attempted 3 fgs, hit 2 and had 1 blocked, long of 39. he has taken and hit 2 XPs and taken 5 kickoffs. he has never punted in an nfl game, but his background is soccer so i assume he can do both. sounds to me like a camp signing since he can do both it’s like having 2 camp legs in one.

nothing to see here.

A great sign of what's to come?

Look out AFC South… we can punt ourselves to death now! we have 2 punters AHAH!

2 punters...and still no competent returner

And it’s our defense that is bad.

Makes perfect sense to me!

Is this the point where we start debating

using both of them in the same package, a la all the talk about lendale+ CJ in the same backfield?

Plan the parade!

We’re punting our way to the Super Bowl!

Don't you see!?

If you just constantly punt to the 1 yard line you can get a BUNCH OF SAFETIES! THATS 2 POINTS!!

But fisher knows

We are going 2 have 2 punt alote so we can get a top 5 pick next year. Trust me. It’s all going accourding to plan.

another fake punt phenom

this guy could be the star of the preseason guys! you know that’s when Fish really lets the punches fly!

by NikoliVoltron on Mar 15, 2010 8:52 PM CDT reply actions

This new punter has…

… ZERO chances to make the team unless he punts like the second coming of Ray Guy or Kern gets hurt.

He’s really just there to showcase himself for other teams to look at…

I had to stop arguing with drunks, Steeler fans, and all other fools.

this^

teams always bring in extra legs for camp to take the strain off of the starters. aj trapasso ring any bells?

this is a good signing for what it is because he can punt and kick. i don’t think it has anything to do with the rest of free agency or what this team will look like once things get real, unless he’s better than advertised. it’s just a boring house keeping move that was going to happen at some point anyway.

i know people are starved for some action, but like i said, this has nothing to do with any of that.

by Teddybear on Mar 16, 2010 11:59 AM CDT reply actions

because

they did something they were going to do at some point anyway? something that every team does? i know ppl are frustrated but this move should have nothing to do with that.

Now that you mentioned it, hal....

I’ve always wondered why teams have to have 2 kickers, 1 to punt and 1 to kick off/FGs….hell, when I was in HS, I did both. If you’ve got a strong leg, you’ve got a strong leg. It shouldn’t matter if you’re kicking off or punting or kicking a FG. Okay, yeah, okay, I’ve talked myself into it. Keep this guy & cut all other kickers. We’ll call him our “designated kicker”. All right everybody, on 3….1….2….RICKY
