Tony Dungy should just shut his mouth

Before the Saints and Cowboys game earlier this season, he said "not a chance" And this was reffering to the Saints losing and guess what they did. Now he is saying he would be "absolutely shocked" if the colts were to lose. I'm pretty sure all those playoff chokes had him absolutely shocked so be prepared to be shocked again because no one likes a bias sports analyst. Cols suck. VY baby this was just to fill the word limit

Maybe the most pointless fanpost EVER

What are you even trying to say? Who cares about Tony Dungy’s Super Bowl predictions? Are you a Saints fan who accidentally confused this site for the Saints SBNation site? If so, why are you a VY fan? Are you connected to reality?

He's not new.

In fact, he started this thread, calling for Vince to start almost exactly a year ago.

Check out the comments in that thread. It’s gives some interesting perspective into how fickle fans can be.

I think T-Rac is probably the biggest...

1) Scumbag
2) Loser
3) Douchebag- Someone who has surpassed the levels of jerk and asshole (clearly surpassed both of those)
I don’t really understand the point in coming on this site and talking shit about people. I know I’m talking shit about T-Rac (which is something I don’t like doing) but it’s just the fact that he thinks he is such a bad ass on this site (judging by the way he responds to everything). I’ve seen a few different pictures of you and I understand why this site is a nice place for you to come and let all your frustrations out, because you probably got picked on a lot as a child and probably still do today. You are clearly a little bitch and have nothing to do but talk shit! I hope this gives T-Rac something to do for a little while. I know he’s going to have an amazing response that all the T-Rac fans can really get off on. So have fun little man!

More importantly

Dungy needs to work with someone on his camera angles. This guy looks like a sickly, malnourished creep every time he looks into the camera completely dead on with his eyes locked into the lens. He might know what he’s talking about but his image on screen really disturbs me.

hypocrites is what they are.

by titansfan4ever on Feb 10, 2010 4:17 PM CST up reply actions   0 recs

yeah, so hypocritical

to support a player when he plays well and bash him when he plays bad.

by T--Rac's Posse on Feb 10, 2010 5:47 PM CST up reply actions   0 recs

so true

how dare someone tell it like it is. everyone should just blindly follow players no matter how bad they are.

Whoa, Whoa, Whoa.

I’m going to stop you there, T-Rac. Yes, criticism is find when you:

support a player when he plays well and bash him when he plays bad.

The issue is that nearly everyone wrote Vince off when he hadn’t played a meaningful snap in over a year. The bashing was of a player who had won ROTY, had a huge slump, and then got injured and lost his job. Everyone had seen enough data over those two years to draw a definitive conclusion that Vince was a bust. It was premature. The prudent thing to have done would have been to say “I think he played poorly, but I’m holding off judgment until I have more information.” Jumping to conclusions about Vince’s career after such a short period of time was a mistake, especially for a project like Vince. Just admit it and move on.

by SuperHorn on Feb 11, 2010 11:31 AM CST up reply actions   0 recs

I've already admitted I was wrong on Vince in terms of getting rid of him

but I wasnt wrong about his play. He SUCKED in 2007 after a good rookie year, which is usually a very bad indicator.

by T--Rac's Posse on Feb 11, 2010 1:19 PM CST up reply actions   0 recs

I'm not going to rehash this.

But, that is NOT a “very bad” indicator. It’s fairly normal to have a sophomore slump, and a significant percentage of HOF quarterbacks have taken longer than 3 years to develop. Furthermore, no one in their right mind thought Vince would be ready to go right out of the gate. We all knew he was a project, which should have tempered expectations even more.

by SuperHorn on Feb 11, 2010 1:38 PM CST up reply actions   0 recs

okay, whatever

as you said, not worth rehashing.

by T--Rac's Posse on Feb 11, 2010 3:01 PM CST up reply actions   0 recs

No I'm not surprised he's a Colts fan

I’m surprised he would be “absolutely shocked” by the Colts losing to the Saints … especially since he coached so many years of letdowns and clutch choking. But I’m sure he is now left in absolute shock that Manning wasn’t able to get up by 10 points and then run out the final 10 minutes of the 4th quarter with 8 yard passes. I think Dungy should now receive partial credit for the Saints victory for jinxing the Colts. I wonder if he was absolutely shocked when the Buccaneers won the Super Bowl the year after he was fired?
