until Posse tells me what my reaction should be.

Holding off judgment.

This better be just an agent trying to stir the pot in free agency.

hopefully this is like the KVB thing

just keeping on good terms in case they crap the bed in FA/the draft.

A BETTER IDEA: TAKE A HAMMER & RAM IT INTO YOUR BRAIN UNTIL YOU PASS OUT!

If he gets signed by the FO. I’m taking the hammer to my own brain! Maybe we should send footage of the Chargers game from last year, or the Ravens game from the playoff the year before, or any Colts game. The only colt we should ever sign in the next 8 years is Freeney (1 year) or Brackett. Nick Harper can only play zone and has no MAN skills. Even his zone skills were ineffective last year. Even if we get a pass rush, when Harper gets BURNED again and again next year; I guess then we will for sure get a CB first round in 2011. I think there is a chance the Brown could take Eric Berry and leave us the best CB in the draft: Joe Haden! SCREW HARPER JESUS. Where is that hammer @?

by titanwarrior1 on Feb 19, 2010 2:51 PM CST reply actions

Um
I’ll put it to you this way: Mike Reinfeldt and I did talk about Nick’s future with the team and Mike said that Nick played very well before his season was cut short by injury, that he did a good job. You can read the tea leaves however you want from that.

Was there some weird “opposite day” clause before this conversation was initiated?

by TNTitans on Feb 19, 2010 2:51 PM CST reply actions

to be fair

they said that all year. They’ll never say anything but positive things about any player.

by August West on Feb 19, 2010 4:17 PM CST up reply actions

Fair enough

I would expect coaches to say very positive things about players to the media, as to not “throw guys under the bus” as we’ve discussed before.

But to the guy’s agent? Come on- Nick Harper is a grown up.

by TNTitans on Feb 22, 2010 8:18 AM CST up reply actions

Allow me to read the tea leaves...

This actually explains a lot. Apparently Mike is EFFING BLIND.

If I were KB or KVB or any of our other FA’s waiting around, I would spit in his face, right between his beady little glazed-over eyes.

I am starting to think I can make it all the way thru the offseason just talking in pictures.

I would probably make more sense that way anyhow.

This is depressing news

But hopefully it turns out be nothing but a brief talk between the two sides.

Harper gets about as much coverage as AT&T does 3G coverage check the map.
