Mock Draft time

With the season over, its time to dream of who we can snag in the draft. CBS has their mock draft up as of 12/21/2010.

Rob Rang has the pick that makes most sense Ive seen out of these mock drafters with us taking Ryan Mallet at #15. Router has us taking Janoris Jenkins, a CB. Unless Cort is gone and Mouton is cut, we have ATV and McCourty. I dont know why people think we need a new CB.

New NFL Draft:

9. Tennessee Titans: Stephen Paea, DT, Oregon State

12/20/2010: The Titans could have gone QB with this pick in my 2011 NFL Mock Draft but I have already had 3 QB’s go in this 2011 NFL Mock Draft. The only option left would be Jake Locker but I don’t think Locker is a top 10 pick and shouldn’t be picked this hi. So I have them taking Paea in this 2011 Draft because his ability to play the run and the pass so well. They would really like for Fairley to fall to them here but I have him going much higher. Another couple option would be Marcel Dareus and Robert Quinn as pass rushers/ends.

I don't know how I feel when he can't spell high.

NFL Draft Blitz 12-25-10

14. Tennessee Titans-Ryan Kerrigan, DE-Purdue

-The Titans expect more out of Derrick Morgan in 2011, but Kerrigan is too much to pass up at this point in the draft.  If they have two elite pass-rushers, this defense could get off the field quickly and create havoc in the backfield.

Walter Football 12-23-10

Tennessee Titans: Ryan Kerrigan, DE, Purdue
I know the Titans just spent last year's first-round pick on a defensive end, but they could certainly double dip at the position if they fail to re-sign Jason Babin. Babin is having a great season, but will be a free agent this March.

If Babin leaves, Tennessee will have to take Ryan Kerrigan if he's available because he's just too good to pass up. Kerrigan is having an amazing senior campaign and has moved into top-10 consideration. He leads the nation with 26 TFL to along with his 12.5 sacks. It looks like he's this year's version of Brandon Graham.

2nd round: Tennessee Titans: Greg Jones, OLB, Michigan State
The best player available who makes sense for the Titans, Bruce Carter would be an upgrade at outside linebacker. With Will Witherspoon struggling all year, Tennessee must address this big area of need.

3rd round: Tennessee Titans: Sione Fua, DT, Stanford
Unless the Titans can re-acquire Albert Haynesworth, they'll be searching for a big defensive tackle early in the 2011 NFL Draft.

Looks like ALL defense in the first 3 rds according to Walter.

And the worst one I found comes from Draft Tek

14 Tennessee
Kyle Rudolph
    Notre Dame
    Reach/Value:     -2
Alternate Selection #1
Akeem Ayers
Alternate Selection #2
Greg Jones

This pick could go so many different ways. Even more so, if Jeff Fisher ends up coaching elsewhere in 2011. Grabbing a top defensive end like Robert Quinn is always tempting but the Titans did that last year. They certainly don't need Ingram. So while they have bigger needs, the Titans would be well served going with the top tight end in the nation who has Jason Witten-like upside.--Michael Schottey, DraftTek Analyst.

Thats a HUGE reach unless Jeff wants to get rid of Bo and Cookie.

Lemme know who you guys wanna see and where you think we'll be picking this year
