Hello to all the MCM regulars around here. Ive been paroozing this blog for a while now and this is my first post of any kind. Name is Brendan, from Vancouver Island BC, Canada. Been a Titans fan since I watched Steve McNair and Eddie George in the Superbowl with the Rams. I wouldn`t say I am a very dedicated football fan, I am still learning many of the finer points of the game. I do try and watch whenever the Titans are on, and usually a little bit of football on Sundays regardless. I came into this season with tons and tons of expectation and hopes, lol well things certainly have gone haywire in the last 5 weeks. 

I am curious as to some of your thoughts on this team going forward. A new coach seems more like a probability than a question as the season draws to a close. As for Vince, I must say I am pretty unsure how it will all unfold and that seems like the general consensus from most of the fans as well since Bud has been pushing for the guy since he drafted him. Much like a lot of you I think the biggest question is in his mental makeup.

So with that in mind, and a potential top 10 draft pick on the way. How likely is it that the Titans take a QB in the first round. I certainly do not know my college football very well at all, but I read this article on Cam Newton. It got me curious if that could be a possibility, or another highly touted QB or do you think a lesser know QB more of a long-term project would be the plan and Vince will be given another chance.

I do not consider myself an expert by any means, but I think I have a fairly good grasp on the basics of how to build a team. And as much as I have been a Vince supporter for years now, I just have to seriously question if he has what it takes. And if he doesnt I think its huge to make sure you get THAT QB asap if you want to be successful. You look at the last 7 Superbowls and the QBs featured in them; Tom Brady, Ben Roethlesberger, Kurt Warner, Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Drew Brees. They all seem to have that special makeup, and as much as it is important to have an all around good team it just still seems like the big X factor every season comes down to who has THAT QB. Im also not saying that guy needs to be a first round, top 10 pick. Im just curious what you guys with the experience and knowledge think.
