Oh, that funny Fisher guy

I was reading the below from Fisher's Friday press conference and just started chuckling:

(on Chris Hope’s struggles this season)

Obviously, there’s been some plays over the last few weeks and throughout the year that you’d like to see end in a different result.  We had some missed tackles yesterday and a coverage issue, but that position is not easy to play.  I’m not one to point fingers at anybody or lay blame on anybody, but we’ve got a lot of different positions and a lot of different plays over the season that have contributed to losses. (emphasis added by me)

Of course, here are some comments from Fisher's Monday press conference after the infamous Redskins game:

(on Randy Moss’ role in the offense)

He had some opportunities yesterday, he was open.  He had an opportunity for one touchdown pass, and had an opportunity to convert a couple key drives but the ball wasn’t delivered to him.

(on the chemistry between Randy Moss and Vince Young)

There were just some reads and progressions that were incorrect and that’s what happened.

Oh, that funny Fisher...not going to blame Hope for any missed tackles or blown coverages, but says you know who missed reads and progressions in getting the ball to Moss (wait a sec, we have Randy Moss??).  Now, with the last few games down the drain, is it still Voldemort's fault that Randy Moss is not getting the ball thrown to him??
