Let's say farewell to VY - quickly
Barring some bizarre intervention by Bud Adams, the Vince Young era with the Titans is over. We have all expended so much time and energy over the past five years debating VY's performance, behavior and role as the future quarterback, that it seems like this is a good time to put all the drama to rest quickly and move on to the discussions about who the new back-up QB should be and about all the other issues the team is facing to finish out the season. Regardless of whether you think Fisher is the bad guy, Vince is the bad guy, or they both are, it's all history now. It's time to move on. Enough is enough on the Vince Young drama debate.
I wish Vince all the best in recovering from his injury as quickly as possible. It looked really painful, and sometimes I think we forget just how much pain all these guys go through some time. Regardless of how much you get paid, everybody is still human (to paraphrase Moss), and pain is still pain.
I hope Vince is able to find a team who really wants him and can use his unique talents and abilities to their fullest.
But, now, let's put the VY era behind us quickly and turn the focus of the MCM discussions to the future of the team.
GO TITANS!!!!

VY is not a bad QB
he can be excellent QB if there is another team who can utilize his skill set.
But right now his mental level is not at where NFL QB"s are suppose to be at.
This is not just a back yard football game where you get pissed and go home. This is NFL, he gets Million dollars to play football.
Too bad his mental game isn’t at where his physical level is at.
I agree with all of the above
I love VY but I am done supporting him as the QB of this team.
This is a hard time but it is a potentially exciting time as we can look forward to a new leader for our team.

Completely agree.

are you serious?
how is it an exciting time. Qb(s) don’t come around that easy. Ask Cleveland, 49ers, etc…
Are there any potential FA QB's that anyone could think of ....
… That could come in and potentially start, or backup effectively? I heard someone on the radio mention Daunte Culpepper ….. The main FA’s I know about are .. well I don’t know any. Not too many starting QB’s on the streets ….
I think unless they pluck someone up they completely believe can take them to the playoffs, Rusty Smith will be our guy, and that’s not necessarily bad. He’s got a big arm and when he gets a full week of practice with the 1’s under his belt he should be good to go, I mean his first start will be against the worst defense in the NFL.
I would really like that
