Kerry Collins practices. Vince Young, not so much.
Vince could be back at practice tomorrow, but even still there's talk he could play without practicing (or 'McNair it' as we call it) if he's healthy on Sunday.

Jason Jones out again with a shoulder injury...
Anyone else notice this? Uh, didn’t he miss most of last season because of this? Nobody is elaborating, but I’m a little concerned. Same one he hurt last year? Soreness or damaged goods? Aaack!
Ok, I overreacted a little
Glennon reports it’s the other shoulder and just a “little sore.” Still, what is with JJ and shoulder issues? Here’s hoping it doesn’t render his effectiveness null.

nSo, it's not the same injury from last year
he says he’s good to go for Sunday… we really need him to stay healthy though

"We’re going to wait and see how he is tomorrow," Fisher said. "Again, it’s been a day-to-day thing, we want him to play, he wants to play, but he is unable to practice right now because of his injuries. So we’ll see how he is tomorrow, tomorrow is Friday."

no way in hell is Fisher going to let Vince play without practicing. a few weeks ago he barely let him throw at all, but all of a sudden he’s going to show him that level of trust? no way.
if he doesn’t practice tomorrow, you can put the mortgage payment on VY not playing.

This
I’d be stunned. They’re totally just trying to put the Eagles into preparing for 2 QBs mode.
KC better warm up his wheels, and the OL better get its wheaties. Blitzes be comin’.
I'm not a Vince Young fanboy. I'm a Vince Young athletic supporter. No, wait.
If KC plays against the Eagles, we are gaurunteed a loss.

I disagree
You guys are on Kerry’s case way too much. He’s one of the best back-ups in the league. We have a good chance of winning with KC. My take: chance of winning with a completely healthy VY: 65%. Chance of winning with KC: 50%. Not a huge fall-off.

KC limits us to field goals more often than not.
And when he is in CJ will also have more of a focus on him. Its not like theres any threat of KC running. Short of an absolutely dominant day on defense and by CJ, i can’t believe we win with KC in.

Who gives us a better chance to beat the Eagles?
A healthy KC or a mobility-impaired VY?
I’m not sure myself, but I don’t think it is worth risking further injury to VY to find out.

I disagree, too.
KC will read the blitz better and look for the short out. VY doesn’t do that well at all. Of course, VY also doesn’t have balls knocked down, and he can scramble to extend a play, but KC has historically taken fewer sacks and is a lot less apt to get confused out there.

Didn't Vince play without practicing against the Dolphins last year?
I'm not a VY fanboy, I'm a VY supporter

i would be less surprised

I was about to say
This isn’t a prime example of fisher-speak at all until it got to “Tomorrow is Friday”.
I'm not a Vince Young fanboy. I'm a Vince Young athletic supporter. No, wait.
No, no, no...
Tomorrow’s not Friday, tomorrow is Tuesday. We will continue to believe that tomorrow is Tuesday until it is so.
I like how he throws in "tomorrow is Friday."
Just so he can say he told the truth about something.

Everything is the truth. Especially the blatant lies.
But, hey, if it keeps the opponent guessing…
i don't see us winning with kerry
i know everybody was on the “aren’t we so fucking lucky to have such a great backup QB like Collins” after the Jags game….
newsflash, the jags are terrible….
against the eagles, we are more likely to see the collins we saw against pitt than the one against the jags….
Let's be fair here
We are lucky to have a solid back-up, but that is where it ends. He is solid- which means he will beat bad teams. He isn’t going to lead us to a win against the Eagles. Does that mean we don’t win? Not necessarily. It just means that we are going to have to have some plays from CJ, the defense and special teams in order to win.

Also, play-calling against the Steelers was AWFUL.
The Eagles have a good team, but like a lot of other good teams, they’ve been inconsistent this season.

no Desean jackson is huge too
also i think we are lucky to avoid Vick, as weird as that is to say. the way we rush the passer can lead to big scrambles and Vick is the undisputed master of that game.
