there are so many plays who come back from injuries each year, Brady did the same…except with a mediocre season

It's basically a 'hey you got injured last year' award anyways

Chad Pennington has won it twice.

Does anyone even pay attention to this thing? Maybe if it was a most improved player award I’d be upset VY didn’t get it.

Yeah, but Pennington has come back from some horrific injuries to put up season-rescuing-type numbers.

Not that he’s a better QB than Brady—or ever has been—but he has saved a team’s season before, VY-style, and that team has gone on to out-perform simply because he was on the field. By comparison, Brady did about the same as his back-up did last year with the same personel.

yeah there were times....

that i thought he wasnt going to get back on the field, which sucked b/c he was young. glad he found his way back, he was a very good RB before the injuries.

Actually, in all seriousness, if this is a comeback from an injury award, let’s give it to CJ. He ended last season with an injury, then came back to make history.

Or, give it to the Titan’s entire team, who overcame terrible coaching decisions to come back from an 0-6 start and complete the season with an 8-2 run.

OR, give it to Jim Caldwell, who came back from Lucas Oil Field to his house without getting beat up or killed after pulling the Colts starters in week 16.

before Brett Favre. Are VY and Cadillac not the obvious choices though? Tom Brady isn’t even as valuable to his team as VY!!
Cassell = 10-5, Brady = 10-6
KC = 0-6, VY = 8-2
