Yeah, CJ lost to Walter Dozier in college
And Dozier lost to Bolt by 5 car lengths.
I still want to see CJ race Rondo.

Cj doesnt have to prove hisself to anybody, Bolt may be faster but I bet he couldn’t do things CJ does with that football in his hand.

Actual top end speed may be close-ish
but Bolt would blow him out of the water on the start. That’s what he trains to do; Johnson trains to grab a football and run.

Well, I love CJ….but he is not going to beat Bolt….good promo though.
Here is my explanation why…I happen to be good friends with David Oliver, 2008 Olympic Bronze medalist in the 110 hurdles and happens to train with C.J., told me that Jamar Charles of the Kansas City Chiefs ran a 10.01 in the 100m while C.J.‘s best time is a 10.5….His 40 time doesn’t equate to Bolt….but they are designed for 2 different things football and track…..he also said that Bolt on a football field wouldn’t be as fast as he is on a straight track….
They are both the fastest at what they do….C.J. at football…Bolt at track….

The competition is not as one-sided as you’d think. Our buddies at NBC Olympics broke down Bolt’s world record 100 meter time from Beijing games, and Bolt’s 40 meter split was actually a hair slower than Johnson’s 40 time at the NFL Scouting Combine.
Then again, Bolt is well known as a slow starter. He would destroy Johnson at any distance longer than 50 meters or so.
Johnson knows this, and wants the race at 60 meters or less. Bolt would like it longer.

But did they account for the fact that Bolt ran 40 meters and CJ ran 40 yards? Makes a big difference when comparing the times.
However, CJ wins just because he dresses like Eddie Murphy from “Raw” and drives a pink 750Li.

This would be an interesting race
Although I have to agree they need to do the race both in and out of pads.
CJ needs to do it and get on PPV.
The man needs to make some straight cash to pay for all those giant TVs he just bought everybody.

Obviously you haven't read PK's ESPN piece yet.
His contract isn’t up for like 4 more years, when his value will be dramatically less.

I don't think it would be close, Bolt is the world's fastest man. Now
put him in a football uniform, I am certain he can’t do what CJ can. So bottom line is, they are both tremendous athletes that do two very different types of running. I would be more interested in a race between Ted Gin and CJ since they both suit up in the NFL.
