2010 NFL Pro Bowl Sunday Open Thread

I figured I would go ahead and open this up early today because there is so much anticipation.  I will be surprised if we don't have to open up multiple overflow threads because of all the excitement that will be generated here.

Anyway, the Pro Bowl kicks off at 6:20 central tonight.  Over/under on Chris Johnson's yards is 125.  Vote below.

Agreed

He’s up against a defense with atleast 5 pro bowlers on it.

Nice.

"What if I was Peyton Manning?"- CJ to the ref after they picked up a personal foul flag for a late hit on him.

Does anyone plan on watching this start to finish? I’m sure I’ll be at least checking it out, but I highly doubt i’ll sit through the whole thing.

Moving the pro bowl before the superbowl was a good start

but it needs work. I suggest a tournament bracket, like so…

Here you have all stars from every division, so it’s less likely someone gets shafted…

I also think doing this makes the pro bowl more entertaining. Not to mention it would give fans something to do if the games were all in the week before the superbowl! They could even play it on the same field where the superbowl champs will battle!

There would have to be HUGE incentives for players to participate. Great big game cheques plus a big fat lump sum for the winner.

nah

just tell em it’s for the honor of the game or something…

The AFC South

Would be so dominant they might as well not even play the games.

I love the ProBowl

I am going to DVR it so I can watch it over and over

When does it come on again?

No way, are you kidding me?

Romo’s playing…he’ll score 57 by himself!!!!

by titansfan4ever on Jan 31, 2010 4:48 PM CST up reply actions

Yeah, don't look back...

cause you’ll see your bookey chasing after you. Dude, 57, c’mon man…you know there’s no defense. Should’ve taken the over….it’s like taking candy from a baby :-)

Pro Bowl is today?

I thought it was after the Super Bowl? Sheesh, where have I been? What? It’s not in Hawaii? I am so confused. Here is an interesting did you know—-Billy Volek was the next QB on the list to be invited to the Pro Bowl if another QB couldn’t make it.

Yeah, the good news is...it's today!!

the bad news is….it will be pre-empted by “Heidi” (or maybe that’s the good news)

CJ & 86 Pic

86 just told CJ this quote from All Phumbles about the league’s best back:

“I think it’s me, of course,‘’ Peterson said with a smile. "I don’t know what player wouldn’t say that. But Chris is an outstanding player. I love to watch him. Where does he rank behind me? He is right there, No. 2.’’

CJ again ! TD !

He’s always open. He catches a lot of balls. He’s un-guardable, no matter how old he is

by WarWolf on Jan 31, 2010 9:24 PM CST reply actions

I was actually at this game tonight.....

I must say the mascots were much more entertaining than the game. T-Rac was out there representing well and hitting on all the cheerleaders! Over all it was a good time.
