See who I picked for the Super Bowl week.
I pick the Colts.
As we all know, the Jets had a stellar week last week on defense against the Chargers, but don't expect them to do it against
Seyton Peyton Manning. Peyton has been the highest rated player in the NFL for multiple years and has proven why he has had so many years as MVP. Peyton can pick apart any defense at any given moment without turnovers. He has lots of young receivers to throw to, including Dallas Clark who is his favorite target. The Colts have a good defense that really tackles well. I can foresee the Jets beating the Chargers, but not Colts, especially with a rookie QB. The Jets will have to force turnovers and not let turnovers happen on offense to win and I don't think that will happen. I'm going with the Colts.
I pick the Saints.
OK, this one is by far the hardest one to pick in the playoffs so far for me. I love the Saints and their high flying offense, but I want to see Brett make another Super Bowl. So I had to do my analysis. The Saints defense was stellar last week against the Cardinals and allowed two touchdowns. The Vikings on the other hand, allowed no TDs. That itself in the playoffs is more than great. The offense of the Saints of course had a day and a half scoring 45 points and the Vikings with Favre scored 34 points. It's safe to say that they can both score and the game will be decided by offense and I believe that the Saints will have the edge.
