Tennessee Titans Morning Links: Heaven Crushed All The Pretty Things Edition
His Holiness Tim Tebow is preparing for the draft at D-1 in Franklin/Cool Springs. Sure that's not Titans news, but come on! There are always a pretty good number of college football players who prepare there (including current Titans Jason Jones and Troy Kropog), but Tebow by far carries the most name recognition of anyone I've heard of over there. Apparently he's still trying to play QB as well, which just ain't going to happen in the NFL.
I'm sure there are folks out there who still think Tebow can play QB as a pro, and maybe they'll Rise Up With Fists on me... just like Jenny Lewis and the Watson Twins!
FO takes a look at tackling CBs, Nick Harper comes out on top. Of course, just about everyone else on that list isn't exactly what I'd call good...
Blain Bishop has been a steady fixture in Nashville since he retired from the NFL, and now he's working with the National College Scouting Association to help local student athletes get noticed by colleges. Blaine will also be part of a new mid-day show on 104.5 that will feature Clay Travis.
Cortland Finnegan will be honored by his old high school with their All Sports Award.
Here's an interview with Kenny Britt that I can't read because I don't subscribe to scout.com. If anyone here does and would like to let us know if there's anything good in it, please do so in the comments!

D-1 Training
Come on August! Tebow is not even the biggest name training there right now….JON CROMPTON!!!!!!!!
From the Britt interview
"My uncle was supposed to pay the tickets and he forgot to pay the tickets,’’ Britt said. "So I’m in Tennessee, they’re sending everything to the Bayonne house, that I need to pay off and then go to court. So I didn’t get any paperwork, no mail in Tennessee.
"So, when I got back to Jersey and came home, I got stopped pulling out of a parking lot following my sister. And they ran my New Jersey license and all the tickets popped up.’’

"What if I was Peyton Manning?"- CJ to the ref after they picked up a personal foul flag for a late hit on him.
He also compared the season to his junior year at Rutgers
where they started 1-5.

The Supreme Court on the take?
Yesterday, the Supreme Court passed a bill that would allow big corporations to contribute to political campaigns. It looks like George Orwell’s book “1984” has finally come true. I never thought I’d see it in my lifetime. The only reason that elections have been even half way fair in the past is because these corporations have NOT been allowed to do this. So…no more free speech…..no more 1st amendment….no more freedom of religion…no more sports franchises or any other small business that does not include corporate america…you guys thought the naming of sports stadiums was bad…you haven’t seen anything yet…I can hear it now…..“Welcome ladies & gentlemen to this year’s Super Bowl where we will see the Exxon Colts take on the IBM Saints”……in the words of Jim Morrison & The Doors….“this is the end”.

I'll be nice, but...
… isn’t this a football site? I thought I was reading HuffPo or Kos there for a minute.
Well in full disclosure,
Kos did co-create SB Nation…

New Radio Show Stinks
Its not even on yet, but all Nashville needs is some more homers to fill my ears. I am going to start listening to Lady GaGa.
I’m an early bird and a night owl. So I’m wise and I have worms.

things may be bad but nothing is worse than lady gaga.
Do you mind if we dance with your dates?
