Nick Harper voted to my Anti-Pro Bowl
Not that anyone here would argue on this subject but this settles it for me. I can at least set my mind at ease knowing I wasn't imagining things, looking for a scape goat or screaming at the TV all for nought. Please take a look at this link to Football Outsiders:
No real surprise but hot damn... not just in the top 10 but numero uno. And if anyone was consoled by the stat right under it for "Stops made on completed passes" please consider that those figures leave Harper with 46 tackles after allowing for a 40 yard bomb"plays" on completed passes. He was always good for that one tackle a game where he could sniff out a WR screen so I'm positive that's where those 16 stops come in to play. But for every stop there was a play allowed for a TD or to set up a TD. Thank God he is gone. Now I can hopefully just worry about yelling at Tony Brown for offsides penalties next year.

Sign a veteran FA
I am not sold on Rod Hood, especially while he struggled against the almighty Seahawks passing game, YIKES!
Titans management sure as hell better not even think about re-signing this Harper fart.
Better get a veteran FA to compete against Rod Hood and the little ones,
hopefully something will work out!

But Who?
Carlos Rodgers? Dunta Robinson? No thank you.
Praying for another Samford DB to appear.

Tony Brown
Like Fish, and Washburn – really don’t mind the offsides penalties that much … lining up in the neutral zone is a horse of a different color … but I enjoy seeing the anticipation on the D-line … not to mention, we lacked pressure as is this season, imagine what it would have looked like without TB.

I don't know if you saw the NFL.com piece with him and the Colt's o-line coach, but Washburn seems to be big on getting his guys to recognize/anticipate the snap count.
Which, can be a feast or famine proposition…

I think Rod Hood
showed enough this year that he at least deserves an opportunity to start, or at bare minimum to compete for that second starting job. The guy tied for second on our team in interceptions with 3, and he only started 4 games. Aside from the Seattle game, his other 3 starts i think we can all agree that you really couldnt ask for much better play from a #2 CB. I cant recall (correct me if im wrong) him giving up any monster big plays a la Harper, and he even turned one of his INTs into a pick-6. Do i think 3 picks over 4 games is going to turn into 12 over the course of a full season? not a chance in hell, but i think we can expect a season similar to the one he had in 2007 with the cardinals were he given the chance to start a full season opposite finnegan, especially since he wont ever have to cover the other teams #1 since Cort will be handling that full time next year. Just my 2 cents
(for reference Hoods 2007 stats: 16 starts, 21 passes defended, 5 ints, 2 tds…not bad for a guy we picked up off the streets)

Both B and C
Keep Hood, let him compete with new FA signing if there is anybody at all worth having on the market. Don’t draft a corner unless it’s a miracle and someone falls way further than they should. We already have rookie corners. Need help now.

I voted Rod Hood
Not b/c I think they should, but I answered the question “which is most likely to occur?”
