Titans WR Nate Washington and CB Ryan Mouton Return to Practice
Tennessee Titans wide receiver Nate Washington returned to practice on a limited basis today as Smash mentioned below, but his availability for the opener is still in doubt. Washington said he feels about 80%. Yesterday I gave him a 5% chance of playing Thursday night. I will upgrade that to 12% based on the fact that he was able to do a little bit today.
Something that was buried in the Tennessean report is that the injury report for this week only includes 3 players; Washington, Ryan Mouton and Craig Hentrich. First off that is great news after all of the nagging injuries that the team had during training camp and the preseason.
The bigger news is that Mouton was a full participant in practice today. That gives some insight as to why the Titans haven't made a move to bring in a corner yet. If Mouton is ready to go week one, there is a good chance he is the third corner back and possibly even the kick/punt returner.
Things are looking up. Three days. GO TITANS!!

Great news...
Jimmy, bud, I doubled your percentage yesterday, and I feel confident enough do it again today, lol. I give him a 24% chance to play. Either way, things are certainly looking up for him to return soon. I agree with you, if Mouton is pretty much game ready, than that is probably why they’ve not looked at another corner and/or returner. Hope the good news continues, and everyones ready to play thursday.
hey BTB fan here
Fantasy wise how do you see nate washington. Is he the redzone goto guy or the 3rd wr or what?
What the French?! Toast!
Def inately
not our ‘’ 3rd wr ’’…
But he is a deep threat/2nd receiver…
I don’t really understand a redzone go to guy kind of talk….
get open, you’ll get the ball thrown to you?
From a fantasy perspective
White is still the only real go-to red zone guy on our roster as far as my judgement goes. Nate will post better numbers this year than he did last because he will play a bigger role for us than he did Pittsburgh, but I wouldn’t select him high in the draft simply because the Titans will still be a run first team.
On the other hand CJ will be more valuable than projected from a fantasy standpoint this year. His projections for this season is based off his legs and last seasons rushing yardage but he will see a lot more passes this year so that boosts his value, especially in a “points per catch” league. I doubt he will be around for the third round in my league but if he is that is where I will take him.
Who takes over if bironas can't go or is reinjired?

Actually I meant Hentrich, considering Trapasso got cut
though I just read he was re-released in the other thread.
