Tennessee Titans Morning Links: It Really Is Your Fault Edition
I get the feeling that before the Titans cut Chris Henry yesterday Fisher and Reinfeldt stood in front of each other, repeating the phrase 'It's not your fault'. Question is, who started crying first?
What SI.com's John P. Lopez doesn't know, is that we've got the rest of the NFL right where we want them:
Don't bet on a return to the playoffs. The road is too tough and the odds stacked against them.
Our guys love the underdog card... you hear that groaning sound? That's me reaching a long way for that one.
I didn't post this yesterday because it hurts me, but Boom King really has been the biggest disappointment out of the front seven so far this year. If you focus in on him, he just isn't beating tackles and ends up on the ground way more than I've ever seen him do as a Titan. I'm not sure what the fix is, but he needs to find it because he's our best chance to demand consistent double teams.
Follow us though the jump to see who is filing a restraining order against Albert Haynesworth...
The most surprising thing about this week's DVOA rankings from Football Outsiders: the Titans actually rank 11th on defense... of course we're 23rd on offense and 32nd on special teams. That last one may yet be a little generous.
Albert Haynesworth's divorce case is starting to get ugly, as his wife is filing a restraining order and alleging a laundry list of charges mostly relating to money.
Hey, at least we have the second most prolific RB in the league.
Pretty good team recap from Fox Sports.
In local news, MBA alum and former Titan practice squad player Ingle Martin has signed with the UFL's New York Sentinels.

Go Sentinels!
Heh. Actually, I can’t decide. My old armor battalion was called the “Tuskers”, so I might have to root for the Florida team just on that basis alone. Sadly, still no pro football in Hartford.
BTW, what up with Big Al not paying his bills? He clearly needs to fire Mike Tyson’s old money manager and hire someone who actually knows what he is doing.

Chris Johnson
Even more impressive than his #2 ranking in total yards is his 6.6 y/a, good for 3rd in the league. That’s incredible considering how much other teams focus on stopping him.

this john p lopez guy is an idiot.
idiotic point #1: although don’t be surprised if coach Jeff Fisher tries something different soon, considering not a single 0-3 team has made the playoffs since 1998. And don’t be surprised if that change involves Patrick Ramsey and not Vince Young
idiotic point #2: Remember how the Titans figured it would be easy replacing Albert Haynesworth since they were so deep along the offensive line?
not really sure what the offensive line has to do with albert haynesworth, maybe this guy should proof read his articles before they are published.

KVB
You called it right, August.
KVB has been a total dud this year. Maybe he’s still injured. Didn’t he put his house up for sale a while back? It makes you think maybe he knows something the rest of us don’t?
We need him to return to the KVB of old….and quick.
Bring Back Vince Young!

i just think....
hes trying too hard to work the edges to get around the blocker and as soon as his body in the position with his back to the o lineman they tend just to drive him to the ground since pretty much his momentum is taking him that route already. he just needs to bull rush straight thru the o line and force them to double team because with kvb lined up next to tony b they should be doing damage.
and i like jason jones lined up next to tb, but id kinda like to see vickerson get some more snaps.
