If we could wave a magic wand...

Okay everyone, I have to agree with Jimmy with all the kerry vs. vince stuff.  We all seem split right down the middle. Its become an exercise in futility to keep rehashing it over and over.  The way I see it a good case could be made for either of them, pro and con.  On the one hand you have an aging, less mobile veteran with a young hopeful with great mobility.  It might be sacrilegious to even ask but do either one fit our system all that well?  So I ask just for the sake of discussion, "hypethetically" which quarterback in the NFL would fit our system the best?

I hate to agree with you

I dont even think hes that great of a QB, but would work very well in our system.

JAKE DELHOMME!!!!!!

Just Kidding.

I believe big ben would be perfect..with our offensive line, big ben could hold the ball as long as he wants and his accuracy is better than either KC or VY..His durability and ability to break tackles would help a lot as well.

"Fit" our system?

Yeah, probably Big Ben – even though I consider him the epitome of evil for the unforgivable sin of wearing a Pittsburgh Steelers uniform.

I also think McNabb would fit the system well.

On a “lesser QB” note, Chad Pennington would probably like our style, as likely would Chad Johnson – who always does better when he doesn’t have to carry the WHOLE offense.

There are better QBs out there, but as far as who ’fits" our system best – My opinion is: probably these folks.

"Chad Johnson"

Gack! VERY BAD EDIT – Should read “Carson Palmer.”

I like Chad.

Actually, I was thinking when I watched the Miami/Indy game is that he is a younger, more accurate, though slightly weaker-armed, version of Kerry.

Chad is infinitely better than Kerry.

He’s the all time leader in completion percentage, has a higher y/a, and lower INT %. He’d actually be a great fit for the Titans.

I thought Chad was a kicker

Except for being slightly fragile.

Chad’s about to go on IR again, and undergo his third shoulder surgery on his throwing arm.

His football mind is every bit the equal of Peyton Manning’s, and I think Chad has never really gotten enough credit for that.

However, his inability to stay on the field has really hurt his teams in the past, and might do so again this year. He’s only managed to play a full season TWICE in his career, even McNair managed better than that…

if you consider everything

age, price, style, etc. i would definitely put pennington near the top of my list. yes fragile, but our o-line would help with that i think.

Akili Smith or Jeff George. Maybe even Tim Couch
