Memo to All MCM Readers (Updated)

The backup QB is always the most popular guy in town, and lately we have more than our share of village idiots. But after falling for this line last year, I’m holding firm now. We’re doomed, and there is NO ONE on this roster who can help.

It was getting out of hand. Even I’m tired of it, but then again, I’ve already made all these same arguments at least 50 times over the past few years.

Fisher was clear that Kerry gets the nod this week. Let it go for now.

I don’t even know why we debate such things…our opinion does not matter at all with what actually happens with this team. It’s not like Fisher and co. Are going to login and say “well these guys on MCM won’t stop bitching so I guess we outta put Vince in” they know the team better than we do…so everyone shut the hell up about VY and Kerry! If it happens eventually it happens…nothing we can do or say to change that…so just sit back and watch some football

I haven’t put my two cents yet on this matter. Ok, here goes…

Kerry Collins and Vince Young both suck. Unless we fix our special teams and address our secondary depth, it doesn’t matter who starts between them. It just doesn’t matter. Just ask Bill Murray. It just doesn’t matter.

I thought this site was based on dialogue and debate? We are all fans just voicing our opinions…

Not everyone has come up with earth shattering comment or ideas… This place is here for us to freely discuss want we feel as fans… Redundant or not, whether it makes a difference to the guys in the front office is of no relevance… Otherwise we may just as well not ever have another opinion on the team again…

Joe shmoe might say the same thing as Pinoy, so what? Some fans literally aren’t as smart as others.

Denturboy can’t spell for shit, or maybe he’s blind and can’t see his keys? Who knows? I love em cuz he’s a Titans fan but it drove me up a wall tryin to figure out his posts, so I stopped reading them. If it bothers you that much don’t read it. I mean if the arguing gets out of control where dudes are cursing at each other like crazy or something (I will be the 1st to tell you I have fallen in this trap LoL) that’s one thing. But if a bunch of people wanna debate who the QB should be and why, they should be able to do so here more than anywhere else as much as they want.

Now what if someone has something Groundbreaking to say? They might just keep it to themselves thinking they might get a bully post or crucified for it.

Maybe I’m just missing some real ignorant shit somewhere on this Blog? Maybe it’s gotten really out of hand somewhere and I’m not seeing it? If so please point me in the direction, I could use some entertainment at 0-3

Why does this guy want to tell us what to think?

If the Titans were 0-3 with VY at QB, everyone would be wining about putting KC in.

Fans should be able to vent about whatever they want to as long as it’s relevant to the Titans.

VY all the way, baby! Collins is mediocre at best especially when the crunch is on. What a great season this is going to be. Even if Vince gets to play, it is all effed up. Maybe this Vince’s destiny to be cast onto a grand stage for a comeback. But I think not. Fisher’s arrogance has gotten the Titans to this miserable place and will keep them here. If it had been Vince going 0 for three on starts and then 0 for his last 13, this board would have had VY’s head on a pitchfork and lit it on fire. Fisher will have to go back to Vince to save his job (again). Adams is getting very pissed off as he is getting old and rumor has it he is looking to sell the team. You can’t really get top $$$ for your franchise with no wins and KC rocking the cellar. Especially when you’re a middle market team and there may be no cap in 2010. Hang on gang. The top is screwed tight on this pressure cooker and each loss just adds fuel to the fire. No way Adams lets this go too much further. Good or bad, Vince will cause attention to return to this franchise and Adams would much rather that than watch his franchise melt into an amorphous blob powder blue blah. My call is VY by Week 8. Kerry Collins’ worst game is yet to come. If I am Vince, I don’t sweat it at all. If they call your number, fine, get in there and have some fun. If not, that’s okay too. No sense in getting the last seat on a train wreck. I hope Michaelbombastalistic likes my contribution to the dung heap he started. It is probably a devious scheme by the forces behind this site to drive traffic.

What I dont understand is why everyone is taking the VY>KC talk so personally. I get on here about every three days, and every single time I do I see someone complaining about the VY<KC posters. Sure your getting tired of reading it if you get on here 5 times per day to check for new comments. The whole idea of not wanting people to talk about it, is the very thing that feeds the conversation. I understand the idea of keeping the fanpost about VY starting to a minimum. So to keep VY out of the QB conversation, would it be better if the VY backers just got on here and talked about how much KC sucks in their opinion? Maybe. Maybe not. Because then there would be people claiming that they need to keep the KC criticism down.

Myself, i try and keep criticism to a minimum. Unless I am pissed off, then I might go on a rant. But those rants are what makes blog sites both good and bad. Just because Billy Bob or whoever gets on here and decides to post a “VY in the Wildcat” fanpost, does not mean that the “Anti VY in the Wilcat” has to be next in line, nor does it mean that if you disagree with VY in the wildcat that you have to get involved with the fanpost. Let the VY backers post on their posts, and let the KC fans post on theirs.

What makes me laugh is when a thread is posted and someone says, “Can we keep a certain name out of this one?” Or," Finally a post not involving VY!" Or whatever it is that the VY-KC conversation haters say. These very comments are what fuels the conversation. The more you dont want to hear about it, the more you will if YOU keep bringing it up.

In all honesty though, for the sake of everyone on this site, i hope KC retires after this season and VY is released. Neither is fantastic, nor are they worth the conversation. Its not like we have Joe Montana starting with Steve Young on the bench.

We can get Crompton next season!!
