At the risk of looking like an idiot, I have to honestly say....
I am not surprised by this start. Last year everything fell into place. Were we a good team? Yes. Were we the best team in the NFL? I don't think so, nor did I ever think so. It was a great ride last season. The Titans pulled out win after win and played well. They weren't ever a dominant team, but effective. I remember thinking Jimmy was crazy when his predicted each of the games last year and had our boys winning game after game. I was thinking somewhere around 8-8. Then the team had the season they did, homefield throughout and choked it away. It's so hard in this league to get to the Super Bowl and win it, I was devastated because we obviously blew a very good chance. Do you realize our longest road trip last year was to Houston? That's crazy, things really fell into place and we took advantage of breaks we don't normally get.
Now this year, 3 quality opponents to start the season, let's not forget that. The Texan loss was disappointing, but they are not a bad team. It is not easy to go into Pittsburgh and win or to go into New York and win. The scary thing....where is it easy to go and win? I think we will trudge along and finish the season somewhere between seven and nine wins. We just aren't good enough to be a Super Bowl team. I hope I'm wrong, I hope I'm wrong, I hope I'm wrong.
Now for the QB situation. If Vince Young is going to ever be the QB for this team again, then now is the time to do it. I'm not blaming Collins on these losses, although he has been far from spectacular. But 0-3, why not try Young and see what happens. Like I have always said, I want him to be the QB we anticipated when we drafted him. I think Fisher made the right decision last year and the first three weeks this year....but I am ready to see what Young can do. Things can't be worse.
As for Special Teams, Fisher has always preached about how important they are. I am surprised he has let it get to this, but I expect him to do something to change things. Those of you that have regulars on here for years know that I am a die hard and in it for the long haul....I don't care who is where as long as I am happy on Sunday afternoons. It's time to make the move now Titans....I just don't know if we have it in us.

gotitans27 maybe we can win 13 straight games...lol
but we really need these next 3 games…its gonna get ugly
Fisher definitely did what he should have by choosing to continue with Collins. Rule #1, in my opinion, is that you go with the hot hand, and Collins wasn’t spectacular, but he definitely had the hot hand as far as minimizing mistakes and putting his team in the position to win. That said, I’m really surprised by the apparent resistance to VY’s potential return by the coaches and fans.

dont you no this is kerrys year
fisher is so scared to change qb s he is gonna let kerry throw the year away so vy can play after the bye..then there is no pressure on vy cause the year is already waisted.the managment of this team kills me.its like kerry did ok last year and fish kisses kerrys ass.when the rest of the world clearly sees him for what he is a washed up old man..all nfl teams no now that they jus blitz an he will give up on the play.its gonna b a long year for our titans.looks like a 2006 season all over again…o yea we mine as well say bye bye to keith bulluck cause he rightfully wants a ring an id b shocked f he stuck around
