Texans receivers Andre Johnson and Jacoby Jones have been fined for their roles in the fight on the sideline during Sunday's 34-31 victory at Tennessee. Johnson, who was going at it with cornerback Cortland Finnegan on the Texans' sideline, was fined $7,500 by the NFL. Jones, who joined in the fight and threw punches, was fined $5,000.

if the NLF really saw punches thrown
they should have been suspended, but at least it’ better than nothing…

Well this is just not possible
TexansForever told us that Andre Johnson is just too good a person to be involved with something like this.
This just makes no sense.

At least accurately quote me when you talk about me.
Then again, this is right in line with the TITs fans strategy of, “Make up whatever fits your need”.
I believe EVERY SINGLE POST I made about this mentons that ANYONE involved should be fined. I wanted to know what Finnegan did to rile him up.
It’s like arguing with my kids…

Maybe Andre Johnson just couldn't keep his act together?

Unliekly because of how saintlike and good he is, right?
Give me a break, i read the interview with him about the penalty being on the wrong guy, and he sounded like a complete punk.

that's pretty big talk
from someone who around here spouting bullshit on this very subject earlier today, about what a saint AJ is etc. i checked and noticed you had absolutely no response to me exposing your “andre johnson was dominating finnegan” meme for the complete fabrication that it was.

Johnson beat his ass on the sidelines in front of a national audience...
I’m going to go ahead and say he “dominated” him…lol.

awfully proud of those cheap shots, huh?
who the hell would brag about slinging someone down by the facemask, then starting a fight ON THEIR OWN BENCH!??! It takes a really special kind of douche to start a fight while in the middle of about 70 guys who are basically required to have your back.

I know, i thought he would never do such a thing without someone first shooting him 3 times in the back.

I like how AJ's fine was more than Jason Jones...
and the Finnegan didn’t get anything.
Boo Yah!
Christie kicks it high and short...Gonna be fielded by Lorenzo Neal at the 25...He dishes it back to Wycheck...He throws it across the field to Dyson...

Unless you count his ass kicked on national television and a home loss....
But ya, other than that he got off scot free.

Again...
Finnegan had nothing to do with his big receptions. Those were all on Harper and our safeties.

touchy Texan gals
take it easy ladies.
It’s just funny when a guy with a rep like that does something completely opposite to what people would expect. You gals didn’t think anyone would chat about it?
I just keep thinking of that fake fantasy files commercial w/ AJ-
“I don’t do a lot of talkin’”
uh huh.
haha
Yea I like revenge, it is a dish best served cold, and Andre Johnson just got served a bowl of $7,500 ice cream.

Nah...
It’s the expression of my hope that we don’t get Bud Adams’d again.
Really sucks to have a team leave town. Of course we basically threw him out a and were happy to see him go. But it sucked not having a team.

I guess you want him to take his ball and go home now. The Texan’s will be waiting for you in Houston. Part 2 should be another great grudge match.
