Usually that is plenty to beat anyone in an entire game. I cannot beleive how the defense is letting the big plays happen. Big change from last season. Big change from last week.

Fair Catch
The member of the receiving team must raise one arm a full length above his head and wave it from side to side while kick is in flight. (Failure to give proper sign: receivers’ ball five yards behind spot of signal.) Note: It is legal for the receiver to shield his eyes from the sun by raising one hand no higher than the helmet.
No opponent may interfere with the fair catcher, the ball, or his path to the ball. Penalty: 15 yards from spot of foul and fair catch is awarded.
A player who signals for a fair catch is not required to catch the ball. However, if a player signals for a fair catch, he may not block or initiate contact with any player on the kicking team until the ball touches a player. Penalty: snap 15 yards.
If ball hits ground or is touched by member of kicking team in flight, fair catch signal is off and all rules for a kicked ball apply.
Any undue advance by a fair catch receiver is delay of game. No specific distance is specified for undue advance as ball is dead at spot of catch. If player comes to a reasonable stop, no penalty. For penalty, five yards.
If time expires while ball is in play and a fair catch is awarded, receiving team may choose to extend the period with one fair catch kick down. However, placekicker may not use tee.
That reference to flight is if the kicking team member touches is in flight before the receiving team.
Also I think the rule is three feet on a fair catch. you have to give the receiver a certain amount of space.

Maybe it’s mathematically possible, but our return game isn’t getting any better, our QB isn’t getting any better, and Harper isn’t getting any better.
Other things may get better – those will not. And we still have Kerry Collins in the two-minute offense, which is always a disasterous scenario.

Defense sucked, I've always been worried about Harper.
Can’t get any pressure either, and we DO NOT have a good qb in Collins. Chris Johnson gets almost 300 yards and we lose, that is just sad.
And next week we play a great jets team that hasnt yet given up a TD on defense.
Still, I am not worried yet and still think this is a playoff team.

Our team isn’t designed for shootouts.
No one wants to admit that the absence of Albert is felt by this team. But, it’s painfully obvious. We’ve upgraded or kept the status quo at every other position. He’s the difference between last year and this year.
If your entire defense is based around one guy
Then there are other problems. Maybe you’re using the wrong scheme. That’s my opinion.
That's just the way the game is.
It’s not scheme, necessarily. But, if you can’t get somewhat consistent pressure with the front four, you’re going to suffer in the passing game. I think it’s personnel, not scheme.

When the Kick return game sucks, did Ringer make it passed the 20 today? The Punt return game sucks, Mouton is terrible… And the D-coordinator Sucks…

It was a great game. Texans put the “soft” talk to rest, and got a big road win to boot.
Sure, we got some luck on our side. Collins’ fumble for sure, and Jacoby’s bobble – which was not a bad call, but instead a bad RULE.
Anyway, I’m already looking forward to the rematch.

miserable game. Bad defense (pass defense) again, bad special teams again, bad two-minute offense, again, turnovers, penalties, bad QB decisions………
If not for Chris Johnson, we would have been annihilated, at home, against the Texans.
