Gotta love these numbers. The Titans are 11-3 in the regular season against the Texans. The Titans have never played the Texans in the playoffs because the Texans have never made the playoffs. Tennessee is 6-1 against Houston at home, and Jeff Fisher is 5-1 against Gary Kubiak.
The Titans were 1-1 against the Texans last season, winning the first match-up 31-12 in Nashville and losing 13-12 in Houston. (Interesting note from that second game, Matt Schaub threw for 284 yards and 201 of those yards were gained by Andre Johnson.)

Game Plan
On Defense: Roll safety coverage to the side with Andre Johnson. Stack the box with the other safety. Leave C. Finnegan and/or V. Fuller on an island vs. the other WRs.
On Offense: Run the Ball.

johnson is going to have to be our main concern, we have to jam at the line this time around because he does have the speed to get up the field. and i dont think walters will be good to go as he is still nursing an injury. its gonna be hell for their o line against our d line.

Generally we're pretty hyped up for this game
But as you can imagine, it’s pretty miserable in Texans-land right now.
I know Jeff Fisher will have a new plan in place to prevent Andre Johnson from embarrassing Torchland Burnedagain for a second consecutive game… plus, as much as Texans fans are putting 100% of Steve Slaton’s struggles on the offensive line – he IS looking a little less decisive and tentative. I’m not counting on him gashing the Titans for 100+ for the third time in a row.
Schaub’s usually pretty good in bounce-back games… but I don’t think many expected us to win this game even before the Jets debacle.

I didn’t see the Texans’ defensive back though..I must not have been watching carefully enough.

Torchland Burnedagain took some real thought and a pretty good rhyming dictionary to come up with.
For the record
If Cortland was a Texan, he’d be my favorite Texan. I love the attitude he plays with. Andre Johnson leaving him in a pile of ash on the turf at Reliant was pretty much the only downside to his entire season last year.

Not that it is any excuse
But the Titans clinched a playoff berth the previous week (WK 14) last year with a win over the Browns, so the guys may have been looking past Houston.
Again, not that it’s an excuse, but we did absolutely dismantle them earlier that season. And really, the guys have what, 4 players and a kicker that are actually good?
It’s football time in Tennessee, fellers!
Oh, and let me add
That we may see Sexy Rexy sooner rather than later if history of Texans QB’s vs our front 4 has anything to say. You Texans fans ready for Hex Grossman as much as I am?
(Note: Andre Johnson is on my fantasy football team, so PLEASE do not put Rex Grossman in, mmkay?)
Ugh, for the love of god, NO REX. It’ll probably happen at some point this season, but I’m hoping at least not against the Titans. The only shot we have is if Schaub can duplicate Roethlisberger’s late picking-apart of the Titan secondary.

I think there's some truth to that
Titans still had home-field to play for, but it was obviously a much bigger deal to the Texans than it was to the Titans. Only thing the Texans have going for them in this matchup is that Slaton did well against the Titans last year, and the Texans managed to (somehow) keep Chris Johnson pretty bottled up. Not so sure they can do that again this year (on either side) but at least we know both teams will be pissed and ready to erase last week’s performances… although the Titans performance was FAR from embarrassing.
