The Tennessee Titans Cut Four Players

Well, I was one for four.  That's not too bad.  The Titans, via Kuharksy, have cut wide receiver Dudley Guice, running back Rafael Litle, linebacker Tyson Smith and center Matt Lehr.

It has been quite a shift for Little, who many of us had pegged as LenDale White's replacement next season.  It is pretty obvious that he has not fully recovered from the knee injury he suffered last year.

I am also surprised to see Guice on the list, who a lot of us were excited about when they signed him.  His game just did not translate to the NFL apparently.

Is Rocky Boiman suddenly a longshot to make the squad?

Previously, I thought he was NO SHOT.

+1

He’ll never play running back in the nfl.

Maybe, after Mark Jones’ performance last week, Henry is going to get one last shot to show some return skills on Thursday?

That’s the only reason I can think of for not cutting him today.

a blind man returning kicks

BOOM!!! I can imagine the highlights the next day on ESPN.

That's the hit from that Colts game, isn't it?

Yeah, I have no need to watch that again.

I didn’t say it was a good idea, I just think it’s really the only possible reason to keep him until the 53-man cutdown.

the only reason we keep him...

is because FO won’t admit that they had made a mistake in drafting him.

Highlight

Yeah, I agree with you August. It’s not a good idea. He’d be on the opening credits of NFL Live again, lol. Pinoy’s right too, FO is having a hard time admitting they made another draft mistake. I really don’t think he makes the roster though. I think by final cut they’ll choke down their pride, and cut him.

I'm still hoping Jones was just knocking the rust off

he hadn’t even had a full week of practice before that game. I know he looked bad but he’s been a very productive return guys who hasn’t muffed a kick yet in the NFL.

I agree

I hope we keep him. I think he has proven he is good in the past, we aren’t talking an unproven commodity here.

Chris Henry should be toast

…when the Titans cut to 53. I think it’s apparent to everyone whether the Titans want to admit it or not he was a bad pick. I hate to see Little get the ax as it seemed like he didn’t get much of a shot but sometimes rb just don’t bounce back after knee surgery.
