Green Bay Packers vs Tennessee Titans Series at a Glance
This game will be the 8th consecutive preseason meeting between the Titans and Packers. The Titans have won the last three and six of the the last seven. The Titans lead the regular season series 6-4 after winning last season's contest 19-16 on a 41-yard field goal from Rob Bironas in overtime.
The broadcast will again be on local TV only with Cory Curtis and Eddie George on the broadcast. Thankfully this will be the last game that can be seen in this limited of a TV market.

I have to say that the NFL network has carried the replay of each
pre season game this year. Kudos to them for that. Aaron Rodgers looks good, but I don’t think this game matters a whole lot. Probably the least important of the pre season schedule. I think its great the Titans got to play 5 games and most other team only got to play four.

Packer fan here…
Rodgers and the rest of the Packers starters will only play one series. Might see a more action for Nick Barnett since he’s making his return from injury.
It’s weird that these two teams have met for this many years in a row. I always remember Jeff Fisher using the last pre-season game as his Late Summer Super Bowl, playing his starters a full half (there are definitely merits to this strategy if you ignore the risk of injury). Seeing that you guys have already played an extra game so far, do you think that will be the case again this year?
Godspeed...
Hes already said they will play one or two series.
We did the full half against the Browns.

The browser in the ps3 can go to any of the sites that will remain unnamed
i find it easier to search on an actual computer and then use the direct link on the ps3 browser

Do you guys remember monday night, week 5, 2004 season?
One of my favorite games. I remember Lambeau Field emptying by the 3rd quarter… I miss Steve.

Oh yeah..
If I remember correctly, it was one of the coldest temps there during a game in recent years … single digit temp. I remember all the O-Line opted to go sleeveless during the game, and tough out the cold. While the rest thought they were foolish, lol.
Johnson and White?
A fellow poster at Acme Packing Company posted
Should be a good test for Matthews and Barnett
The Titans have a good OL and good running game although who knows if Chris Johnson or LenDale White will even play. But it is a good test and good opportunity for Barnett and Matthews to get up to speed against a physical running game and overall solid offense.
BTW, anyone know if Chris Johnson or LenDale White are supposed to play for the Titans?
Any answers here on that one?
Thanx, and good luck with your season.
The glass is more than half-full.
I wouldnt expect to see CJ for more than 3 or 4 plays...
White might play into half of the 1st quarter.
However, they’ll still get a good test with our rookie stud at RB, Javon Ringer.
Christie kicks it high and short...Gonna be fielded by Lorenzo Neal at the 25...He dishes it back to Wycheck...He throws it across the field to Dyson...

And then they'll have a rather simple "pass/fail"...
…with Chris Henry in the Second Half.

Matthews and Barnett will look like probowlers
once they give the ball to Chris Henry
