Keep posting that same paragraph on every thread until someone responds? OK, I bit.

This “site” doesn’t have very many haters on it against any Titans player, as you would know if you stuck around and saw what other posters have to say for more than three days after joining before making your first posts here belligerent rants along the lines of the thoughtless junk that fills up the Tennessean’s comments forum. You’ll see critics and defenders of VY here, but pretty much all wish him well regardless of which side of that fence they lean on, cause he’s in Titans blue.

Your post is bullshit. It’s one of the dumbest things I ever have read in “defense” of Vince Young. Actually it doesn’t even need that moniker. It’s one of the dumbest things I have ever read. Makes me long for the days of SuperHorn and me going back and forth. Felt like intelligent conversation at least. Now I will break down why.

For all the people who hate on vince young they need to step into his shoes this man didnt have a father and his mother was a crack head. Where do any of you have the right to judge him? When have any of you had to deal with half the stuff he had to go through?

It’s not judging him to say he has shown a lack of maturity as a NFL player and none of this has anything to do with 99% of the criticism of Vince Young. And correct, I did not have to go through anything like that. But I don’t have to to say “You know, he doesn’t have the emotional maturity to be a top NFL Starting Quarterback.” These statements make you sound like an over-emotional moron.

Dude, it happened in 2006. The defensive numbers are pretty set in stone. Fucking look it up. Were they 27th? What is around 27th? No. 32nd, actually. took me 12 seconds to look that up.

He also won a lot of games in his second year and if you look at kerry collins stats over the past couple years they are very similar to vince except vince has about 600 more rushing yards and more rushing touchdowns and kerry collins had CJ and LDW

This has been covered ad nauseum (that means a lot in case you didn’t know what that phrase meant), but no. They aren’t close. Vince Young threw 8 more interceptions than TDs in 2007. Kerry threw 5 more TDs than INTs in 2008. That’s not freaking close. It’s not. So shut up with that. Show some real data, not made up bullshit you throw out there with no factual basis.

A few points for this ending paragraph.
1) People don’t need to have played football to make a judgement on whether they personally think someone is mature enough or good enough to handle being a NFL starting Quarterback. This is the lamest argument in the book.
2) You switch tenses without using any punctuation or ending a sentence. That is hard to read and screams “I’m a dipshit with no talent and dropped out of 7th Grade.”
3) Usually, in English if you double a consonant and add “-ing” (or in your case “en”) it changes the vowel sound and usually changes the word. Example: scaring is a form of scare. Scarring is a form of scar. This is due to the sound. So you saying “HATTEN” which I assume is supposed to be “ing” and not “en” on it, you are saying “STOP HATTING”. I assume this is turning the word hat into a verb. I don’t know how that’s possible, I guess it means when a person places his body on top of someones head to protect them from the sun and provide some sort of style quality to their look. Sounds weird to me. Anyways…

Don’t post shit like this in here. Want to defend Vince Young? Do it intelligently and smartly and back up your declarations with some sort of statistical evidence and logical reasonings. If not, take this crap elsewhere. This posts are inflammatory (proven by my response) and don’t accomplish anything. It’s the argument of an immature child. We have argued plenty and for hours on Vince Young on this site, and rather intensely. But the goal has been to maintain a certain level of intelligence and proof backing up statements. This breaks all of that. It’s annoying, and in my opinion not wanted on this site.

I have nothing against VY as a person, but i do think he does not belong as a starting QB. You stated in your post that he his sensitive and does not take criticism well. One of the most important characteristics of a QB is composure and mental toughness. He has clearly shown he is not capable of performing under pressure. The problem is he is taking up too much cap room, for what we are getting out of him.

I am taking my daughter to a Taylor Swift concert Sunday night, the same time as the game (unfortunately) and won’t be able to see it “live” on tv. I am happy to take my daughter to the concert, but just wish it didn’t clash with the football game.
