 Houston native Vince Young is excited to put on the Oilers throwback jerseys this Sunday, and shared his memories of the franchise's flight from his hometown:

"I was very angry [when they moved], because I was always an Oilers fan, always watching them, watching Warren Moon, Chris Chandler, Haywood Jeffires, Ray Childress – I was a big fan of all those guys," Young said. "And when they left it was a heartbreaker for the city. A lot of people watched the Rockets and the Astros [ed note: them's good people], but when football season hit, we were looking forward to the Oilers. We would get close every year to the Super Bowl, but never make it."

 Kyle Vanden Bosch, aka Boom King, called last season 'absolutely miserable', and is jumping at the chance to make up the production he lost to lingering groin injuries.

 Several NFL teams have moved to place restrictions on when, how and if players can utilize Twitter, and Jeff Fisher confirmed last night that the Titans are in the process of drafting an official set of restrictions on the subject.  i'd expect them to mainly put the kibosh on any such activity inside the Titans' facilities and potential fines for inappropriate comments/complaints made over Twiiter or Ustream.

 Wyatt's notes on the practice form last night, which was moved out of public view and into the bubble after about 20 minutes once lightning started to set in.

 Apparently the practice session in the bubble featured some intense jawing between active Keith Bulluck and sidelined Kevin Mawae, though they patched things up quickly.  Mawae was quick to bring the Twitter cut-down into the mix.

 Paul K has parting notes as he leaves the Titans' training camp after the first seven practices.  The reviews are pretty good across the board.

 Teresa Walker looks back on Bud Adams' 50 years as the owner of the Oilers/Titans and comes up with some good stories, including the time Bud handed over his wife's cadillac to star RB Billy Cannon so that he'd sign with the team rather than with the LA Rams.

Alge Crumpler donated $75,000 to his former high school for renovations and upgrades to their dilapidated football facilities.
