This is not about the Radio tonight,
sorry, but I don’t know where to ask this….
What type of contract do coordinators or individual position coaches sign with the teams they are with? Do you know the length or teams? Or do they just stay with the teams they are currently with until they get fired or have a better job opportunity?
I am asking this because I don’t want Dinger’ to leave… again
(Sorry if this is an ignorant question, and I posted in the wrong page…)
basically
any team seeking to hire a coach who is under contract with another team has to receive permission from that team to talk to him. every team has a separate policy on how they handle granting these requests but in general teams only allow it if it is a vertical move. so for coach heimerdinger, they titans would only grant permission for him to interview for a head coaching slot and not another OC job. i also remember that when the lions were looking at schwartz, the titans said their policy was to only grant those requests once their season was over.
