Cerdic Golden of the Austin Statesman writes about the differing directions the careers of two former Longhorns greats are taking with the Titans: Michael Griffin and Vince Young.

LZ Granderson speculated a few days ago that Vince Young may be (at least lightly) dabbling in depression, and may be under the impression that this isn't his life. Well VY, no matter what happens, I know some guys who are always gonna love you... WILCO!

Sun Media has learned the [CFL's Toronto] Argos have placed National Football League quarterback Vince Young on their secret negotiation list, a more-than-interesting move considering that Argos head coach Bart Andrus last worked for the Tennessee Titans and is familiar with Young and his situation.

Ross Tucker says the NFL must do even more to curb misconduct off the field, but closes the article by admitting that he doesn't have any new ideas abut how to get this done either.

In an effort to break bread and cease any further legal action, the NFLPA has agreed to pay nearly $26 million to retired NFL players for illegally using their likeness in video games, trading cards and anywhere else they could get a dime for it.
