Albert Haynesworth: "I’m kind of glad I didn’t work out something there because it was time for me to go." *UPDATED*
Big Albert really unloaded in this interview on SIRIUS NFL Radio (Update: Paul Kuharsky got a transcript from SIRIUS). Here's another very interesting quote:
"Vince is a really good friend of mine and everything, but I just don't see it happening in Tennessee. I think he has to go elsewhere and start elsewhere because I've been in that organization long enough and I know how kind of when you fall out of the good graces with certain people that you're not going to get back in it. I don't think they'll trade him because his cap number is too high, but he'll probably have to do his legacy elsewhere, which I definitely think he can because I think he's an awesome quarterback. He has amazing talent.
"He's a very passionate guy. He just loves to win and play the game. When things ain't going his way he's sitting on the sidelines trying to figure out himself. Now, all reports saying he refused to go back in the game and then he goes and gets hurt. I mean, that's not the case. They kind of blew it out [of proportion]...They can make or there or they can break you there. That's why I think it's time for him to go and start his career elsewhere and become that Hall of Fame quarterback that I know he can be."
Paul Kuharsky swears the highlighted comment is completely untrue, and that VY did ask out of that game in Jacksonville. Either way, it's a an interesting comment from a guy who was on the sidelines and in the locker room after that game...

ridiculous:
I know how when you fall out of the good graces with certain people that you’re not going to get back in it.
so albert,
when you arrived in in nashville as a an overweight slug with no work ethic who started fights in practice (against titans and visiting teams alike) and kicked justin hartwig, a teammate, in the chest while he was on his knees, that wasn’t enough to get you out of these “certain people’s” good graces? how about when you went psycho and earned the longest suspension in nfl history for an on field act? you were still in everyone’s good graces then?
for someone like albert, who was given second, third, fourth……twentieth chances by this organization before being able to take that fat contract from the snyderskins, to insinuate that the coaching staff around here holds grudges like that and doesn’t give players a chance to redeem themselves on the field is laughable. look in the mirror big boy, you are the living counter argument to your own words. you owe your entire career to the coaches around here who did for you EXACTLY what you say they won’t do for vince. they allowed you to be a lazy, immature, destructive punk for years before you ever bothered to live up to your potential. in a fair world, half of that monopoly money deal you signed would be sent directly to washburn and fisher, for working HARDER THAN YOU DID most of the time to make something out of you. good day sir.

My thoughts are the same....
Albert is just p.o.’d because of the tampering stuff. I hope he sucks in Washington!

Geez
I totally agree… how can he seriously sit there and say those comments, for all the Titans did for him… He thinks he is “THE S***”. and I was one that was always so supportive of him…
How long do you guys think it will take before he fakes his ’’leg’’ injuries?

I think that's supposed to be
Good DAY, Sir. Well said.
Albert’s a great player, but he’s got plenty of his own issues going on.

Absolutely Ridiculous
He’s getting too big for Nashville? Too big of an ego or too fat of a body maybe. He can be a complete chump half the time.
