Tennessee Titans Morning Links: My Biggest Mistake Was Loving You Too Much, And Letting You Know Edition
The coaching staff has been very upfront about the fact that Ryan Fowler is back in the mix for the starting MLB spot, but Stephen Tulloch will not go quietly into the night. He tells Jim Wyatt all about it:
"Now that I am getting my opportunity I'm not giving it back. The only way I give up this job is if they carry me off the field. To finally have the opportunity to start, I think the sky is the limit for me and I want to showcase my abilities. I'm just getting started.''
Look, Ryan Fowler seems like a good guy, but if the coaching staff is really debating starting him over Tully I just have on thing to say, and I know The Band agrees: Don't Do It!
Kerry Collins used his appearances at the CMT Awards earlier this week to meet some of his musical heros, and talk to Alan Jackson about diggin' on some Alan Jackson.
Former Titans Rien Long and Zack Pillar were selected in last night's much ignored UFL draft. This is actually a cool story for Rien Long, who has been battling back from a near fatal car accident in January of 2008.
I don't put much credence in rumors of Pac being resigned by the Cowboys, but Mike Florio has an interesting tidbit that would be an odd one for someone to make up:
There’s a rumor making the rounds that Pacman Jones is still living on property owned by Jerry Jones.
I think we'd all agree that it's time for Pac to give it up, and focus on preparing for his true life's calling: being a strip club DJ.
Now that the slower period of the off-season is upon us your help in finding out of the way Titans stories is more important than ever. Orlando also drafted former Titans guard Zach Piller (even though the UFL site had his first and last name mispelled)

best. band. ever.
that’s just science. I actually got to meet Levon Hemls after a show at the Ryman a few years ago. We ended up blending into a get together at the Hermitage Hotel after the show and kicking for an hour or so.

I've always wanted to be a strip club DJ.
What a great job. I wonder if it pays anything.

Strangely enough, I know a strip club DJ.
And the pay isn’t great. But the benefit plan is amazing.
(actually, discounting seeing lots of naked women, the benefits aren’t very good either).
I'd rather have "take your work home" day.

He'll make it
He’s kicking ass at OTA’s & getting a lot of 1 on 1 time with the coaches. He reckons he’s the 3rd fastest player out there. Been doing well on special teams, as well.
Being smart does help him, as he’s coming along really well with the playbook…

I had this from a reliable source before the story broke
When the idea for a show with Michael Irvin was originally conceived, they were going to have Pac Man participate in hopes that he would beat all contestants and get a second chance with the Cowboys.
Has Michael Irvin’s show even been on television yet?
According to the source, Jerry Jones was in cahoots with Irvin to use the show as a back door way of bringing Pac Man back to the team.

I stand by it.
I knew about the controversy involving Irvin stealing the idea for the show way before it was reported in the media (if I remember correctly, it was the first week or so of February)
