Mike Mayock and Mel Kiper whip Todd McShay like a rented mule

The Big Lead gathered a mountain of mock drafts on Saturday morning before the draft started, then went through to see who got the most pick-team-position combinations correct. The winner was Mike Mayock (10 correct) of NFL.com, and second place was Mel Kiper (8.5 [he got Freeman-Tampa, but at the wrong spot]) of ESPN. Much to Kiper's delight, Todd McShay finished next to last and beat only Peter King.

and in our defense, that mock draft

wasn’t an attempt to pick what teams WILL do, rather what they SHOULD do in most cases (like not waste a 1st round pick on a 3rd round talent like Josh Freeman or reach for Hey-Bey by 20 spots).

As a resident of the Mule Capital of the World, Columbia TN, I would like to stand up for mules everywhere and say “no” to derogatory terms inciting abuse of mules and any comparisons of people to mules.
