2009 NFL Draft Day Two Open Thread Pt. II
The Titans still have 5 picks to make, and there are always some guys out of this mix who make an impact on the team. Will we see the next Cortland Finnegan of Bo Scaife here?

The Human Torch was denied a bank loan
Bah!
We needed the Cap’n and got a dinged up RB…. At least we should have taken Jean-Francois from LSU.

bye bye chris henry?
i like ringer. he’s not exactly the lendale type, but is a better all around back up for cj. reminds me alot of michael pittman cause hes yoked.
i like the nate davis pick for the niners too.
much love for ringer...
that’s a value pick, and between him and Raphael Little, Henry best be booking a U-Haul…

I also like the Ringer pick
Yeah, Henry is only going to be remembered for that time that he got decked by the Colts on that kickoff return. Nothing else.
About Ringer, I think he would have gone higher if he wasn’t banged up. He was a beast at Michigan State and was the center of their offense. He took ALOT of snaps. He will be a solid change of pace guy and maybe have a chance to take that second spot if we get rid of LenDale after his contract year (which face it, is pretty likely).
War Eagle and Go Titans
yeah ringer was a heck of a work horse
i bet he puts some pressure on len dale right away.

played in the spread. evidently against high school teams
edisons wiki page is already updated
must have a good agent.
i dont care about the competition level for this guy
he makes some sick catches. same size field and ball.

He has some positives...
but I am not sure about his ability to take snaps under center. Plus no way he makes roster with 3 vets at pos. practice squad at best.
Luv Ya Blue
sweeet
We got lots of great picks, but I’m noticing that many of our late round picks were team captains . . . I know for a fact that Gerald McRath was Southern Miss.’s defensive captain – He had great closing speed and seems to have a good head on his shoulders….
Great job Titans!
