if this ends up like tha past 2 drafts where tha Titans pick someone no1 had em picking and we all scratch our heads and then it ends up working. so i’m givin tha Titans a pass this year no matter who they pick. I think they’ve earned it. no complaining this year (maybe)

THAT officially kills the Boldin deal. Game, set, match. The 1,000,000-1 shot that the Titans would actually trade for a star player goes by the wayside – again – in favor of a WR nobody heard of a month ago, with inconsistent hands and no particular strengths other than “route running.” Probably the sixth or worse best WR in the Draft at best.

AZ gets Beanie, no need for anything we’ve got.

I hope to GOD Britt turns out to be better than Boldin, because as far as I’m concerned he now needs to be.

Folks, I’m a Syracuse guy. Watced Rutgers at least 10 times in the last two years. Never saw anything out of this guy, or even heard him mentioned as a top pick until a month ago. I must confess I am entirely unimpressed- this is Dyson all over again.

But now he’s a Titan, and has the Preeminent role as the # overall pick for us, and high, high, high expectations as such at WR. Who needs Boldin when you’re got Britt?

Don’t like the ultimate implications: Boldin deal dead and buried.

Don’t like the inability to learn from old criteria mistakes: “We’ll fix the drops.”

Don’t like the passing on a CB like Butler while still available.

Griffin was a defensive MVP type on a World Champion team

I never doubted the blue-chips.

We just drafted a #3 NFL WR. Smaller than Gage, with a greater propensity to drop. Slower than last year’s #2, and Washington. “Route running” only goes so far at this level, unless you’re still planning on 6 yard passes as a downfield toss.
