Holt to sign with the Jags?
In my opinion this really shows who Tory Holt is if he signs with the Jags. They are not contenders. They do not have a good QB. They will not make the playoffs. Obviously ( i guess i should have known) the all mighty dollar is more important to Tory than a Championship or at least competing for one. Obviously Tory thinks Tory is worth much more than he is or he would have been grabbed up earlier (by us or someone else) ...i think it is just sad that he would make that decision.....there is said it.

ESPN had an article about it. but now I can’t find it, so they must have taken it down. hopefully that means it wasn’t correct.
was it form Mortensen?
if so you can disregard it

I don't know if I really want Torry Holt here anyways
I think he is past his prime and I would rather resign our core players with that money. I wouldn’t be mad at all if we do end up signing him but I don’t think he is a top tier WR anymore
Cortland Finnegan is a beast
who would we use that money to re-sign?
Thornton?

I have good feelings about Hawkins to tell you the truth

This is the story from Rotoworld:
The Florida Times Union confirms an ESPN report that the Jaguars are close to finalizing a contract with free agent Torry Holt.
As of late Saturday day night, no deal was “imminent,” but the sides are discussing contract specifics. Signing Holt would allow the Jags to go defense with the No. 8 pick in the draft
My take on Holt:
I acutally have a feeling that the Titans have 2 or 3 WRs that they would draft in the first round. I think they want to use Holt as a fallback option after the draft if one of those guys are not available in the first round and the Titans do not take a WR. On the other hand, Holt’s agent may be using the Jags as leverage to get Tennessee to sign his client before the draft.
Maybe the Titans are......
working on a deal for Anquan Boldin?
