i hope your right

steps to success:
1) draft harvin
2) meet and greet with all his posse
3) boom king, bulluck/bullock, and dave stewart beat the living crap out of posse
4) buy a house for harvin’s mom next to wherever percy lives
5) hire big black (from rob and big) to follow harvin everywhere
6) win superbowl

No Harvin !!!!

Laurinaitis in the 1st and Meredith in the 2nd. We can’t miss on this pick and Harvin has too much baggage.

by Tripleh07 on Apr 16, 2009 6:01 PM CDT reply actions   0 recs

and why would we pick Laurinaitis??

we don’t use a MLB close to 50 percent of the time. You would take a situational player over a gamebreaker like Harvin?

don't know that

We don’t know how are MLB will be used this year….. Remember.. New Defensive Coord!

We have a new denfensive cordinator, not a new scheme

I’m sure our dominant defense won’t be changed

559

Laurinaitis should not be viewed as a situational player. He had 9 picks in his career at Ohio State. Plus, Tulloch and Fowler combine to make an average MLB. This would be a solid pick. And Percy Harvin likes weed!!!!

Great Pick guys!!!!!

I know a guy that I used to go to school with, who now goes to school at the University of Florida and he says that everyone who knows Harvin personally says he is a good guy and isn’t really a thug or anything. That doesn’t clear his red flags but I was glad to hear that, and I think he could really flourish in our offense

do you guys not remember Pacman?

Harvin is obviously another Pacman. If he’s not smart enough to stop smoking weed at least a month before the combine, he ain’t smart enough to stay out of trouble for long.

The biggest difference,

in my mind, is that Harvin has no history of the aggressive behavior that Pacman did in college. Pacman’s inability to control his temper/alcohol consumption is what did him in.

No they don't

but first time caught you have to enter into the NFL drug treatment, 2nd time is a 4 Game suspension, 3rd time is a year long suspension…

doesn’t do us much good if he can’t be on the field… Now with that said who hasn’t tried a little dope in their life. As long as he’s not an every day toker I’m ok with it

that's only fear

don’t care about smoking, rabid about not getting suspended.

How can you defend Harvin?

He had a wonderlic score of like 13?? He failed a drug test that he KNEW he was going to take… What more do you need to prove he’s got red flags going off?
