Titans on AT&T HD?
I've had comcast cable and an HD TV for awhile now. The primary reason I splurged on the HD set in the first place was to see Titans in high def glory, and it was well worth it.
AT&T is now trying to get me to switch to their "U-verse" service. Are any Titans fans here already on this service, and how do you like it if so? I'm assuming they have all the local network channels in High Def. That would be a show stopper for me otherwise.
Comcast for Titans games has been OK. I've noticed some "picture freezing" during games sometimes, but i've never been sure if that was the broadcast or if it was a cable issue.
Not exactly a Titans post, but i figure local sports fans would be one of the best sources to find out about this services quality....

I hate Comcast.
It freezes up quite a bit, and in a recent Preds game that went into overtime , the extra period was blacked out, only to come back to replay the goal scored in overtime. Not good.
AT&T HD could be a good option, but I think I’m going to switch to DirecTV soon, since it’s not looking like I will have NFL Network after this month. What do Titans fans think about DirecTV?
Welcome to Smashville, Tennessee.

I have
DirecTV and it is awesome. It shows picture well, and doesn’t freeze. The only problem is if it is raining where you are during the Game it sometimes cuts out because it loses the signal, but that will happen with any Digital Service really..

I have Uverse here in Austin.
It’s great. But, like anywhere, the games are going to be regional. When the local CBS affiliate picks up the games, they were all in HD this last year. I switched to Uverse a few months ago because they basically paid me $300 to switch ($100 Check, $100 Visa gift card, and $100 cable credit). No contracts.
Anyhow, I’m planning on switching to DirecTV in the next few months only so I can get the NFL package. I’m forced to go to bars to watch many Titans games, and between beer and chicken wings it ends up being cheaper to get the NFL package. If Uverse had the NFL package, I wouldn’t ever switch. The service is fantastic.

Thanks for the feedback guys
Amusingly, after pitching me on the service for about a week, when I finally caved and said, OK sign me up, then they realize that U-Verse isn’t available in my area. So AT&T called me, one of their land-line phone subscribers, to try to get me to switch to U-verse, and they hadn’t even run my phone number, which is listed through THEM, to see if it was available to me.
Awesome.
