Though
the first 4 weeks looks tough, the last 4 games looks awesome. Alot of later games and SNF and the first Christmas Game AT Tennessee! How tight is that guys.
We are going 13-3 again:)
2000 we hosted dallas on christmas night
so cold.

whew...
this is a tough schedule, considering we play both of last year’s super bowl teams, plus division winners Miami and San Diego.
GOO TITANS!
first 6 weeks are BRUTAL
we will enter the bye week as either a team that is battered and bruised, fighting for our playoff lives, or as nfl front runners for the 2nd straight year, this time with no doubts about our strength of schedule. no slow starts allowed this year. 5-1 would be an absolute triumph, 4-2 damn good, and 3-3 still pretty darn respectable depending on how the division games go.

3-3 in tha 1st 6 games
should be good enough b/c they can finish 9-1 over tha last 10. cant wait for tha monday night game in houston. ive never been to a monday nighter
You're not foolin me Kerry Collins.
Well!
I would be surprised to see us as a flex scheduled game the last half of the season!
Also.. I’m shocked at some indicating that the back half is easy..
Also.. I’m shocked at some indicating that the back half is easy..If you think the bills, Texans (monday night) Cardinals, colts, and Seahawks are going to lay over your wrong.. Seahawks will probably win the division if they are healthy.. Bills will have a rested Lynch and stud WR corps..
I made an MCM schedule wallpaper
Here it is.
What do ya think?

sweet
good to see it put to good use already.
I like the schedule
It’s always fun to host the Bills (cough – Music City Miracles)
and I can’t wait to see the Cardinals in Nashville

i've been hearing people say that
for about 3 or 4 years now. dont count on it
You're not foolin me Kerry Collins.
I would fear
Houston isnt that far away from being a contender. I fear them alot more than I do the Jags this year.
Well... Coming from California...
I plan on making it to Nashville for the first time to watch our TITANS this season… I just have to pick the game… Watching them destroy the sissy chargers would be one hell of a Christmas present. Sunday night football would be great too… DAMN i am excited.
I predict 12-4 this season
and hopefully we can do better when it really counts, in the playoffs…
Cortland Finnegan is a beast
maybe this is strange to say
but i am glad to see our bye is week 7.
i feel like early byes suck since teams are still fresh and would rather have the break later.
first six weeks are absolutely brutal
i’d love to see this team go 4-2 or better but it’ll be tough..i do think the last half of the schedule is winnable, seattle winning the west isn’t saying much considering the cardinals did it at 8-8 last year..sucks how early it is i wan’t to watch CJ now!
what time is 3PM over there?

yikes
I may be in my hometown in India for the Christmas game. Looking like a 6am start, not as bad as if it was a 3pm game at midnight India time.

Awesome
Looks like a very fun schedule. Four nationally televised games including a Christmas day game at home and a MNF in Houston. Think they’ll wear the throwback unis for that one? Or is it only home games when you can opt to do that?
The two away west coast games look pretty well placed for us – surrounded by home games and well apart from one another.
The Jets again? Seems like it works out we play them every dang year.
You guys can only wear the AFL unis against other AFL teams
Which is good – because if you showed up wearing those jerseys in Houston, I’d bring a hammer to the game.

BAH!
I have only got to see the Titans in person twice, both times @ the Bengals. This year my wife and I are planning on taking vacation in TN so I could go see a home game.
The first we had in mind was the Miami game because a co-worker of mine is from Miami and is a die hard Phin fan. He had planned on meeting us there so we could watch it together, but only if it was early in the season.
The second was the Arizona game, because as much as I would like to claim my entire family as Titans fans, my middle kid is an Arizona fan. He is only 6 and calls them the red parrots, but he has been cheering for them for two years and has loved them since the first time he saw their logo on Madden. During the playoffs last year when the Titans lost he looked at me and said “Daddy, your Titans lost. My parrots didn’t lose yet. Doesn’t that mean the parrots are better?” I had to explain to him that if the “parrots” were AFC they wouldn’t have been there… but he still rubbed it in my face when they got to the Super Bowl.
Looks like I am going to have to pick an earlier game to go to now. I wonder if I could convince her to go to the Sunday nighter against colts.
I see 10 or maybe 11 wins on that schedule.
Of course, it depends on how things go, but right now I would predict something like this…
Week 1- @ Pittsburgh Steelers – Loss
Week 2- vs. Houston Texans – Win
Week 3- @ New York Jets – Win
Week 4- @ Jacksonville Jaguars – Win
Week 5- vs. Indianapolis Colts – Win
Week 6- @ New England Patriots – Loss
Week 7- BYE
Week 8- vs. – Win
Week 9- @ San Francisco 49ers – Loss
Week 10- vs. Buffalo Bills – Loss
Week 11- @ Houston Texans – Win
Week 12- vs. Arizona Cardinals – Win
Week 13- @ Indianapolis Colts – Loss
Week 14- vs. St. Louis Rams – Win
Week 15- vs. Miami Dolphins – Win
Week 16- vs. San Diego Chargers – Win
Week 17- @ Seattle Seahawks – Loss
I’m factoring Home Field in pretty heavily for those games with a lot of travel and less heavily for the Division rivals. I mean, you have to take a sort of optimistic track on these things, but there are several sets of games where I think the Titans probably win one of two. For example, they probably beat either the Jets or the Steelers, but probably not both. For that matter, maybe they overcome the travel thing and beat either the 49ers or Seahawks, but then drop a game to either the Texans or Jags at home. These are things that I would consider reasonable substitutions, all things considered.
But taken on as a whole, I think this is a 10-6 campaign given what we know now, and that better than that would constitute a “good” season, and worse would constitute “under-performance.”

Ehh... I should have made that Home game vs. Buffalo a Win. So call it 11, maybe 12.

1st game vs. Colts
should read “loss”. Peyton will not be having offseason knee surgery this year.

True.
8 men in the box won’t hurt. AND Freeney and Mathis making Collins a tad nervous. :-)

How many times was KC sacked by a Colt last year?
It couldn’t possibly have been more than 2, total. If he felt any pressure, it was from the come-ons of the all the TV announcer chicks. It certainly DID NOT come from one of the Colt pass rushers.

the goose egg stands!
no sacks either way in the first meeting.
jacob ford sacked peyton on the only drive he played in the second game. the colts sacked VY twice and simms once in that game as well.
most likely not gonna be a lot of pressure either way to be honest. when these two o-lines are at full strength, they are the class of the nfl in pass protection. and when kerry is playing, both teams have qbs that get rid of the ball quickly, making it extra hard to get to em.

You're right.
But, hey, a girl can have hope in April for October. ;-)

4 of the first 6...
…on the road. I like that.
Sets up a final stretch where 4 of the last 6 are at home. Nice.
Tough schedule, though.
Division: loss at Indy, loss at either Jax or Hou (4-2 overall)
Wins: Vs. STL, MIA, BUF, ARI, @SF, @SEA,
Losses: @PIT, @NE, SD
Undecided: @NYJ (leaning “W” here…)
So 10-6 or 11-5, probably a playoff berth. Hope to turn SD and one of those road losses into a win (HOU, JAX, or NYJ).
The bad news is that 10-6 (and possibly 11-5) means having to win three road playoff games. Ouch! Hopefully, they find a way to get the division, and a bye.
Indy looks like 12-4 from what I guess of their schedule………..
Bring on the draft!!!!!!!

Dammit, Christmas Day game on NFL Network
Better hope the squabble between the NFL and Comcast turns out well if you live in Nashville.
Other than that, I’m loving the high number of nationally televised games!
I've been hearing
that they broadcast on local channel (prob ABC) for participating teams in these cases, since not everybody gets NFL Nw.
