The Broncos Are Trading Jay Cutler
Let the bidding begin! There's no doubt that the price will get too high in a heartbeat, but I'd still be willing to throw the kitchen sink at Denver for him.
You just don't see many 25 year old Pro Bowl QBs coming off of a 4,000+ yard season hit the market... make a call Mikey!!!

Cutler has been in Nashville
I talked to a friend who said Cutler has been in Nashville for an extended stay recently.
Hmmmmm…

He did go to college here.
I presume most of his friends are still in the area. I wouldn’t read any more into his presence here than that.
If I hit a hole-in-one on this grand slam the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.

could be right
but, it’s odd that he’s been staying in Nashville during this whole saga – I wonder if he has purchased any property in Tennessee recently?

He still has a house here
and lives in town for much of the offseason…
Where I was raised 2 + 2 = 3rd and 6.
Wow
That’s nuts. It might even get more local airtime than the calipari story tomorrow ;-).
I still don’t see the Titans in this picture. Not because he wouldn’t be a great acquisition, but because of the hassles it would introduce with Vince and Kerry contracts and because there are other teams with more need that would outbid us. Despite the Nashville angle, just don’t see it. Man, it would be nice though.
if it was up to cutler we may have a shot
but it’s up to the broncos and i don’t think we can offer up anything that would match what other teams can offer.
anyways, i hope mcdaniels enjoys going 6-10 (or 6-12) over the next few years.
Ha! MY BRONCOS INSIDER WASNT LYING!
But unfortunately there isn’t much hope of us getting him, we just dont have enough firepower. My guess is that he goes to the Lions
Cortland Finnegan is a beast
Since the lines have the schwartz
I’m adopting them next season – couldn’t complain if cutler1 (did I do that right?) goes there.
I can see
some sort of crazy trade going down where the broncos end up with brady quinn
And then fans curse them for the next thousand years.

Wow.
This is going to be crazy and drama-tastic for a little while. I wonder how things are looking over on the Mile High Report.
This is me, over here, trying not to get my hopes up.
Cutler is a great talent
But I’m kind of amused with all the fascination with him. He certainly did not handle this situation very maturely at all, which doesn’t speak well for his leadership (even Bronco fans who want him back are very annoyed with how “entitled” he’s acting), and while he has a big arm and has nice stats, he has failed to get this team, in a bad division, into the playoffs. He has often has made some pretty critical mistakes to cause that.
As for the Titans, I don’t know if getting a strong-armed gunslinger is the best fit, unless they’re prepared to go nab some more dangerous pass-catchers in the draft or elsewhere.
