I am resigned to the fact that if we can get Holt cheap, more power to us. Bring him on.

yeah, the one thing i would say

about the whole “he sucks playing on grass” angle is that you might have a correlation problem, since the only times holt played on grass, he was also playing on the road, where teams generally don’t perform as well as they do at home.

i’m not trying to claim that this is the absolute explanation, but it might explain at least part of his problem. you would need to create road turf vs. road grass stat splits to test the theory, and that’s a hell of a lot of effort that i can’t justify until he’s wearing the two toned blue. but, if he becomes a titan, i promise another mega post on the issue.

i could be totally wrong, but that’s the only thing i can think of that could make his grass numbers so weak besides the obvious explanation that he needs turf to be effective.
