With the 11th Pick in the 2009 MCM Mock Draft....
....the Buffalo Bills (represented by Jimmy) select....
Tyson Jackson, DE, LSU
This pick was pretty simple. The Bills ranked 28th in the league in sacks last season so they need a pass rusher. Jackson is the best pass rusher on the board. Picking defensive ends is an in-exact science because they all look good at the combine, but Jackson had a solid 2008 season with 10.5 sacks after a disappointing 2007.season.
The Denver Broncos are on the clock..

Oh, yuck. Buffalo needs speed at end, not power. Tyson isn’t close to being a good fit in Buffalo’s Tampa 2 scheme.

I will agree with my fellow Rumbler and Bills fan here and say that Tyson Jackson doesn’t make any sense for Buffalo. He had 10.5 tackles for a loss last year, not 10 sacks. He actually only had 4.5 sacks last season after recording 4 the year before. Jackson will never be a player who can consistently top 5 sacks a season and that might be an optimistic guess. He is not the pass rushing threat that Buffalo needs and isn’t likely to even get a first round grade from the Bills organization and almost certainly won’t be considered with the 11th pick.
